This was avery informative video. I am returning to college to receive my masters degree in Special Education. With all the papers to write I needed to actually see how the family works together and actually care about their child. Keep up the excellant work.
The older sister is not mocking the Autistic sister, she is only demonstrating her sister's speech abilities. She was explaining this in a very age-appropriate way, children are often to the point. As adults in our over-sensitive world, we often mistake this for being rude or cruel. If anything, I thought the two other sisters showed patience and understanding.
My daugher love and support their sister to the nth degree......there is only love not meanness between them......if they seem a little awkward in front of a TV camera....talking about the sister they lover ....well....most of us think of that as special....
@joegalli It is!Being the sibling of someone with autism can teach patience, tolerance, empathy, and values. It takes integrity to keep from getting frusterated or upset by daily struggles. It's not easy to deal with such a communication barrier and I'm sure it isnt always fun.The worst thing for me, too was feeling sad watching other siblings. But there are many ways to show affection, you just have to find them.In the end, they'll be better people because of it and teach others to be the same.
people with autism are not "autistic sufferers" :(

This comment has received too many negative votes show
was her sister just imitating her in a bad way (being mean)?
