in fairness conans core fanbase (which is huge) mostly consists of young fratboys who arent even getting home till 1 in the morning. also conan had to lose alot of edginess when he took tonight, which didnt sit well with some of his fans. last time he had 17 years to build a fanbase and in his last years was murdering any other late night tv show. this time he got a long term vote of confidence and instead only got 7 months this time. and as mentioned before, his lead in was awful
