  • Really digging Lord Cecil Wyndemere on the mandolin.

  • Thanks for posting Joe, from IommiRules.

  • Thanks so Much for posting this awesome song/video!! I didn't even know there was a video for this great song.. Bill and this album are great!

  • Would it kill the people who post videos to include the name of the artist in the headline? It should say: Bill Ward - Children Killing Children

  • is that Billy Corgan?

  • Kick ass song.

  • great song.

  • I once read an interview where Ozzy said that he, Tony and Geezer always pretended that Bill Ward wasn't the best songwriter in the band. Both of Bill's solo albums are so brilliant. Too bad noone heard them. He's had a new one in the works for a few years called "Beyond Aston" Can't wait until it's completed.

  • Amazing. I have always rated Mr Ward as a musician. Look at his vocals on tracks on Never Say Die; my favourite Sabbath opus. His drumming has always been superb, very powerful, possibly matching Bonham... Got Ward One Along the Way on vinyl years ago, then got this on cd a few years ago. Lucky enough to see Bill and THE boys at Ozzfest a few years ago. He couldn't play cos he had been ill, I was delighted to see the best Sabbath line up together again before I die. Bloody character count!

  • Fantastic song, you can really hear Bill's Beatles influence here. The man is a brilliant musician, too bad he seems to generally be the least appreciated member of Sabbath.

  • filipe2143

It's not 'offical' sabbath website. It's Mr. Siegler's sabbath 'fan' site. But it is closes thing to an official site.

  • @EDTRADER85 the sight might as-well be official because it has the approval of Iommi and Butler and other musicians associated with the sabbath name

  • I, as a metallica fan, know that Lars isn't that good man. He's lazy.

  • How do you work out that lars is lazy? best drummer in the world , that said, i bet bill ward was one of the drummers that influenced lars.I saw Metallica in february 09 Lazy Lars was not, truly mesmerizing performance.

  • @masterofpuppets1967 I know this was a year ago, but ya Lars is a lazy and he a so cocky with the band he always say "I fell that..." "I think..." is only him he thinks about I this I that. He's a ok drummer, but Bill (hahaa) Bill is the one of the best of the best next to Nicko

  • Well then sir, you would be talking out of your arse.

  • Bill Ward is an awesome underrated unique musician. Can't wait for Tony and Geezer to get off their Dio kick so Bill and Ozzy can rejoin them.Black Sabbath will rule after forever!

  • In interviews that i have seen of black sabath, Bill is a truly lovely person he comes across as very intelligent and kind. A man who i would love to have the pleasure of meeting and having a cup of tea and a chat with. God bless Bill.

  • No, i'ts not. Joe Siegler is the guy who posted it, and he has Bill's permission. They're great friends, check it on Bill Web Site, Siegler is also the official Black Sabbath Web Site owner.

  • oh, right!

a pity you dont like watching this, i think it's an awesome song...

  • great drummer, great singer, great song

  • i am a big fan of sabbath and everything they have done and am a big fan of their solo projects ozzy, iommi, geezer and ward they are very clever on there own and shows there talent but i dont think they will ever be as good as sabbath with all of em

  • listen to swinging the chain from black sabbath, bill sings on that aswell, ill remember bill more for his drumming but besides it's alright from sabbath, this is my favorite song he sings

  • I have along the way on cassette but i can't find it on cd..does anyone know where i can download it from?

  • I love Bill Ward, he did great songs... and hope to get very soon the new studio album!!

He wrote in his site: "I do regret that "Beyond Aston" didn't become available in 2007. We're in the action of re-setting up a production team to finish up in Jan/Feb 2008."

  • Bill is the best... I love him as musician .... I can say that one of my favorite sabbath songs is ¨Its alright¨ I love that song... I really like bill... he is the best.

  • That was a very nice song. I wasn't expecting to hear something like that from Black Sabbath's drummer. His voice is better than Ozzy's, too.

  • @louminatti you'd probably think gaahl's voice is better than ozzy's

    lol

  • This music is wierd

  • boo ...its bill ward you *******

  • I had the honor of working with bill ward. I met him through some hustler named jack. Jack had told me he worked for him and I was like "yeah okay".... Lo and behold I did meet him at his house late at night and ended up doing some graphic projects for Bill. This guy gave off so much positive energy and he is REAL laid back and CHERISHES life. We love and miss you Bill!

  • Bill Ward is one of the greatest drummers of all time. But the partying he did in the Sabbath days took it's toll. Yikes. I'm going on the wagon.

  • hey bill ward is not creepy

  • It's all about the music. Who cares what anyone looks like as long as the song is great, which this is. Most powerful drummer of all time. He did things with a 3 piece set that blew away other drummers using 50 piece sets.

  • he reminds me a lot of Jonny Cash. I don't think his voice is that bad, but he should've stuck to the kit.

  • does anybody have the bill ward song with ozzy bombers can open bombbays ? if so please , please load it up and share

  • The reason he sounded Tech. E. and NSD is that those albums were released in the late 70's.

Anyway, CKC is a nice song.

  • I like this song a lot!

    Great job Bill.

  • excellent song.

  • Thats a mandolin he's playing right?

  • Bill Ward is a better human being than Dio

  • I loved the easy going and yet profound "it's alright" song from the technical ecstasy record, but this is deeply moving songwriting!

Thank you for posting this and the related article on

    B-S/dot/com!

  • His voice just doesn't seem like it would come out of him. Good song, but too light for my taste. His voice was so much deeper on Technical Ecstacy and Never Say Die!

  • yeah, I agree. His singing voice doesn't sound like it would come outta him.

  • Lmao, he looked like Meat Loaf at the start.

And, did I see a lute?

  • I like it.

  • Not a heavy song musically, but lyrically it's pretty heavy. Bill Ward is awesome and totally right.

  • This is soft rock. Boring...

  • Meh iam a sabbath Fan but i think this Sucks Stick to drumming Bill

  • This guy can sing!! He should've sang more when the original Sabbath was around

  • yea i was actually surprised when he started singing

  • It's awesome.

    Can't wait for Beyond Aston!!
