  • Im really new to this(i have my 550D since yesterday)but the question is; is it correct when I choose the 60fps its recording like a normal speed with sound? Or I just missed something?

  • great!

  • bad acting..

  • were are the cops?

  • I'll be completely honest. I was not very impressed with this film. Not until 1:48. From then on, the cinematography was fantastic, the shots were spectacular, and the choreography was convincing. The music threw me off quite a bit, but if you can use the techniques you used to capture what you did after 1:48 for your future films, I will be interested to see how much better they turn out.

  • now that is how you use a T2i!

  • Oh yah baby I like good

  • I love the work. Very awesome stuff! What lenses and editing software did you use for this?

  • DIS HOE LAME!

  • Nice action scenes

  • damnit was waiting for Rob Schneider to pop up

"YOU CAN DO EEET... CUT HIS F**KING HEAD OFF"

  • this video should start at 2:00 everything from that is gold

  • This was a scene from a short right??

  • I love how the flesh/cloth move in slow mo

  • WOW!!! This is awesome, where did you get the sound effects from? They are Kick ass!!

  • LOLOLOLOL

  • Very climatic film. I feel it could have used a bit of saturation.... but at the same time low saturation created a cold feel that matched the story. Twixtor could have also helped the film tremendously... it could have also been tough to fake punches while in super slow mo. You have a very good taste with the T2i

  • If you enjoyed this short please check out SPLIT LIP 2!

  • I really like this video very intreaging leave me wanting more killer sound effects more please

  • What kind of video editing and color correction software did you use?

  • what the....

  • the music sounds horrible!

  • the action in this vid is insane.. nicely done...

  • very nice it looks like most of those hits are real contact.

  • does it come with those sound effects to?

  • FINISH HIM

  • Good stuff. Where did you get your Sound EFX?

  • The tall skinny kid is a way better actor, the other can't even seem to curl his lips without being overly dramatic about it. lol

  • Lol I love the anger.

  • I like how the little kid is running away at 2:02 LOL, probably scared shitless! haha, good vid

  • Where did you get your sound effects for the fight? (unless you recorded them yourself?)

  • Danny Trejo!!!

  • Great effects. Nice color correction. Honest opinion...... 4 out of 5 stars. Nice Job!!!

  • These guys both work at the same car wash? lol, bad asses don't wear khakis.

  • pause at 1:35

  • 7/10

  • damn that was really good! don't understand why there are so many dislikes, good job :)

  • music is off a bit but nice work.

  • Great work.

  • Anger management! :-)

  • nice video, sir.

  • He pulled out the Machete and he lost. :(

  • The way that guy pulled out that Machete makes me doubt that he actually lost... This video has been tampered with!

  • That was pretty good. Loved the dolly shot from behind the car to IV walking out. Very nice!

  • Nice video dude. Can you please tell me what resolution you've used to shoot this video in canon T2i. Like 1080i (30fps) or which? Since you been doing lots of video, which software would you recommend to edit it? Thanks

  • what rendering settings have u been using , please hopefully u have after efects cause thats what i have and i cant seem to find a good rendering setting once im done rendering I want to upload to youtube but i want the quality to look great!

  • Nice work man. And the actors have done full justice to the attempt. And if you give some technical details, like what equipment and mixing softwares did u use, that would make it more interesting.

  • @MPR0D People like you, sir, are the reason I keep making movies.

  • @Chrisfreak24 u legend.....love it all over....what collection of lenses u got?

  • Okay, so, don't be offended, but this is my 2 cents.

I haven't watched any of your other videos but this one would be better if there was a story line leading up to why the fight took place.

    And less and/or better music.

  • great choreography and action there. the angry faces before the fight were a little corny though :P

  • Please tell you only used the KIT LENS. Everybody and his mother seems to own every lens out there.

  • @conewells hahaha nah it was the kit lens and ooooone other for this short. The other was a 70-300mm for those far away wide shots that retained their dof.

  • from a 1:36 and on its done almost perfect, minus some of the zooming in and out, only because the F stop changes making it darker to lighter, but other wise done great, great camera!!

  • sounds effects are great - 2:07 was perfect.. would love to have had a few more seconds silence after the scream... but really cool - Getting this camera soon, can't wait

  • really good! but do you know what would have been really epic? if you threw on some classical music. i really loved this short more than many other I've seen so far.

  • good.. just music was kind of a strange choice..

  • looks like you had to start stop start stop start stop?

  • so when you went from a front view of the actor with an N on his kneck to a side view you made him walk twice?

  • @DEskateboarding Yup. You do one take from one angle, then you switch the angle and have them do it again. It's called getting coverage. lol and that's a roman numeral 4 btw

  • @DEskateboarding yeah lol its IV not N

  • did u use multiple cameras or just one if u only used just one how did u do all those angles

  • @DEskateboarding We only used one. You just do multiple takes, one right after the other, so the actors have it fresh in their heads what they did last take, that way their actions and lines match up closer from every angle.

  • harsh

  • what did you use to edit this video with?

very nicely done by the way!

  • @bbllaakkee5460 FInal Cut Pro, and thank you : )

  • So are the parts not in slow motion shot at 60 fps also?

  • @CannedSofa No, those are shot in 24. Gives it a more film look, but more importantly 24fps makes all of the swings and hits look more intense. Do some test shots yourself between 60 and 24, you'll see a big difference.

  • @Chrisfreak24 Thanks for the response. Also, would you say the T2i is a good camera for the money?

  • @CannedSofa I absolutely love the T2i. Besides some details about cropping it has virtually the exact same resolution as the more expensive 7D/5D and if you know what you're doing, it's the only tool you need. I use it for both my personal shorts and the online commercials I shoot for work. Buy the camera and get yourself a nice 50mm 1.8 lens from Amazon.com and I guarantee you'll love it.

  • @Chrisfreak24 Thanks for the suggestion, I've been debating which camera to get for a while now. I've been leaning towards the T2i, and I think you pushed me over the edge. As for the 50mm 1.8 lens, some of the reviews on Amazon suggest it's cheaply made and not very sturdy. Have you found this to be the case?

  • @CannedSofa Actually no, I dropped my camera on a concrete floor inside a mechanic's workshop once, with the lens attached, and it works fine lol I'm not saying beat the shit out of it or anything but it's far from falling apart in your hand brittle. Plus it's a Canon lens, so the glass inside is what makes such a crisp image. Go ahead and buy the T2i with the stock lens, get used to using it, then maybe borrow a friends prime lens or rent one out for a shoot. You'll see the difference.

  • what do use for the slow motion ?

  • @Gamesssvideo Canon rebel T2i shooting at 60fps, then using "cinema tools" to convert it to 24fps like the normal shot footage.

  • Billy mays got his ass whooped.

  • Comment removed

  • good job! the 2nd guy looked pretty evil. i thought he brought out the machete a bit too late though XD

  • Clip at 1:03 to 1:05 looks exactly like a movie shot - good use of depth of field there.

  • damn that sucked lol jk... but they should have picked a better leading role, not some fatty

  • Were you zooming in and out manually? You can see the aperture adjust? Or is it just me? Nonetheless this is fantastic

  • @365Hustle Yeah I was, good catch : ) and thank you

  • ha that was funny!

  • do u use a fix rig?

  • @GrifoMTL This was actually my first time using the Dslr, so no rig, all handheld here, except for a slider used on the slow motion shot from the car to the subject.

  • @Chrisfreak24 waw, handheld? great job man

  • you should make the story about who is wearing that outfit tonight

  • great like it..

  • Where do you get your punching sound effects from? Fantastic video by the way.

  • @Magicrazy1 Thank you sir : ) The punching sounds are a mix of a really cheezy and entirely over bassy punching sound effects I found online, turned down and overlayed with a small slap I recorded myself, that way the punches have the bass hit they need but still sound like they're hitting human skin. 99% of what makes good sound effects is just mixing the bad ones lol

  • The fight was epic, but I wanted more. Why did these two men seek each other out? Without a backstory, a setup like this requires the audience to suspend a huge amount of disbelief, and some, like me, find this hard to do. Fights like these don't happen without provocation. If you ever create something similar to this, have only one man seek out another, not both at the same time. This still requires people to "just go with it," but is slightly more believable.

  • @pineapplebaron There actually was initially more story here but the female actress backed out last second (murphy's law always proves true in this industry) so I had to just go with adrenaline fueled action lol The fact that you watched it and it left you wanting more, however, is more than enough satisfaction for my part, thanks for the view : )

  • @Chrisfreak24 Ah, I see. Thank you for telling me this. May I suggest that you put that in the description? Anyway, I most certainly want more. There are infinite options to what you could do with this, and I would love to see which path you'd take. Make a sequel, (or an elaboration) and you are sure to get at least one view: mine.

  • that was fucking epic

  • killer Rabbit look @1:50!! funny.... but cool editing and good use of music and film track together.

  • where they all wear khakis ';)

  • Yeah mate u guys r just getting better and better :) awesome :)

  • ouch!!! you can feel the impact, nice work.

  • WoW .. I like it

  • What program did you use in editing?

  • @OutcastEntertain Final Cut Pro sir. Trained in Avid, she was my first love, but FCP is just too quick, easy, and efficient to ignore : )

  • EPIC!!!!

  • That was amazing!!

  • lol the dude looks like al pachino in the beginning from Carlitos Way

  • @b16ryder Haha I will tell him you said so

  • BRUTAL! Just the way I like it! :-D

  • BRUTAL!!! AWSOME!

  • Awesome job man, by far some of your best work. Great choreography.

  • Alright Robin, your performance is second to none. Yes I do know that location also by the way. Right behind a certain Laundry Faculity. lol Awesome job guys. 95 stars for your production crew.
