ya they were great live i seen them in vancouver in 93 couple yrs after this..pearl jam and neil young came after, excellent show, anyways in 2000 got to meet chris thorn carrying a bag of bananas a fan gave him in the parking lot, very nice guy, whom genuinely wanted to know what people thought of his music..anyways thanks for the vid.. makes me feel 19 again :)
I love this song so much....pity that there is a cut in it though. Note part of the verse is missing and the video cuts to a new scene/angle around 2:16
Incredible footage regardless, thank you for this!!
Actually, he didn't. Soul One was written by Brad and Rogers before they met Shannon. No Rain was written by Brad soley. Tones of Home was written by Brad and Rogers as well. However, when Shannon arrived on the scene, he wrote the lyrics to the last verse.
wow learn something new....soul one .brad and rogers..shannon added the bridge later..no rain..brad..i never knew that...but tones of home from what i just read was written by all three with shannon writing the first verse..rogers the middle and brad the last..rogers says.. it was "somewhat autobiographical" but whatever..im glad we all care enough about them still to discuss it...thanks for the info.

I remember reading somewhere that the earliest BM songs were written before Glen came aboard. Songs like Mother, What you Lost, etc... I could be wrong
Stuff like Soul One, Tones of Home, No Rain...etc were written even before Shannon was in the picture. But I'm almost certain they were never performed under the name "Blind Melon" without all 5 original members.
TIMELESS SONGS LIVE ON FOREVER !!! THIS IS ONE FOR SURE!!!
