To other groups, the upside down cross may represent something completely different. Most symbols do represent different meanings when they are used by more than one organization. I completely agree with you. I also believe in the Bible so far as it is translated correctly. I also believe the KJV to be the most correct of the translations. Nevertheless, I like to compare the versions. In the case of this verse, it is simply a matter of interpretation of the word "or". I can honestly say, I don't know exactly what the mark is other than what is written in the Bible. The rest is left to speculate. I think we will recognize it when the time comes.

Yes, I was quoting verse 17 from other versions which interpret "or" in the sense of "in other words". I'm not saying they are right... just that the KJV is the only one that can be interpreted as 3. Not at all. If you want to believe that any single symbol is limited to only one meaning or interpretation, then you are closing your eyes to the obvious. As demonstrated, the cross both upright and upside down have been used for both good and evil purposes. My intentions are not to cause doubt but to provide education and understanding rather than make assumptions based on nothing but ignorance.
When I was a kid, I loved the swastika. I even drew it in a picture until my aunt tore the picture up. She told me that Hitler used that symbol, and it was evil. I asked why, and she told me about comunism. I asked if there were any other meanings to this symbol, and she said no. I bought a pentagram necklace and I was worried because many belive to be the symbol of satan; from what i knew the upside down pentagram is the symbol of satanic, not the one I have.

Good video, I think that it is important for people to realize that a symbol in and of it's self holds no meaning, except that which an individual or group of people believe it to mean. These symbols that I am typing (words) mean what they mean only because our culture has assigned meaning to these symbols. The meanings of even this type of symbol is subject to misinterpretation, and change over time, and in different contexts.

the only thing that I wish to address is a technicality. The Pentagram is 2 points above three, the lead point pointing down. The Pentacle is 3 points above two, the lead point pointing up. And lastly, the Hebrew star of David is a 6 point star. To other groups, the upside down cross may represent something completely different. Most symbols do represent different meanings when they are used by more than one organization. Never claimed that it originated from Christianity. No religion holds the absolute rights to any symbol. Do you believe the cross originated in Christianity? It is considered a pagan symbol but is not limited to that description. Hence, the adoption of symbols.

What I WOULD recommend is that everyone use the KJV bible. because the other versions are corrupted. Use the KJV for ministering, say I. Because otherwise your lessons MAY not in fact be legit!
I mean, how could anyone trust a bible with faulty theology, and/or thats been tampered by satan? Does it not defeat the object of scriputre? Surely!

I completely agree with you. I also believe in the Bible so far as it is translated correctly. I also believe the KJV to be the most correct of the translations. Nevertheless, I like to compare the versions. In the case of this verse, it is simply a matter of interpretation of the word "or". I can honestly say, I don't know exactly what the mark is other than what is written in the Bible. The rest is left to speculate. I think we will recognize it when the time comes.

2nd commandment says that God does not want us to make ANY image of anything on or below or above the earth...we don't need images to worship our God, they are just a distraction.

The command not to make graven images is paired with bowing down and worshipping them. It does not mean that artwork or symbolism breaks the commandment.
For example, after that command was given, God later told Moses to build a serpent of brass (Numbers 21:8-9) which Jesus referred to in the NT by likening it unto His crucifixion (John 3:14). The graven serpent was not evil but worshipping it was (2 Kings 18:4).

There was also the Ark of the Covenant, and many graven images in the Temple at Jerusalem. God gave specific instructions on how the temple should be built. There were 2 huge golden cherubims inside. There was a "molten sea" with 12 oxen underneath it. See Chronicles 2-5. All these are graven images that God commanded to be built. It is idol worship that is evil.

Yes, I was quoting verse 17 from other versions which interpret "or" in the sense of "in other words". I'm not saying they are right... just that the KJV is the only one that can be interpreted as 3. The others interpret the name and number as being what the mark is. Either way, I suppose it is irrelevant, since nobody yet knows what the mark, name, or number is.

Let me explain it since I did not explain why I think most of these religious symbols represent Satanism & Christianity. Christ was the symbol of somebody good who tried to help us, & the crucifiction is when we killed the good person. Our sins were not forgiven by Christ dying; that is evil paganism Satanism which was incorporated to the religion. Nobody can die for your sins. Christ begged God not to forsaken him. Satanists know the evil in people. When we let Christ die, we are guilty also.

Where do you get that from? Jesus asked god not to let him be killed & not to be forsaken. Jesus never said he was God. All this was done by people. Jesus tried to help people to be free from the Roman occupation, and the thanks he got was to be crucified. It was the Jews who chose to crucify Jesus. According to the prophets of the Old Testament, the apostles of the New Testament, and Jesus— He was a sacrifice for our sins. I cannot say that I would want anyone to die for me. I doubt any Christian can say that. However, I am grateful for what He did. He could have stopped it at any time but He did it willingly. I only pray to God the Father. No one or nothing else. I read my Bible. I don't worship Him through any symbol. I worship Him in spirit. Symbols, like your cross, are only reminders of God and what His Son, Jesus Christ has done for us. Outside of the Christian belief, crosses represent other things. This is common in symbols but it does not lessen what we interpret the symbols to mean.

Not at all. If you want to believe that any single symbol is limited to only one meaning or interpretation, then you are closing your eyes to the obvious. As demonstrated, the cross both upright and upside down have been used for both good and evil purposes. My intentions are not to cause doubt but to provide education and understanding rather than make assumptions based on nothing but ignorance.

When I was a kid, I loved the swastika. I even drew it in a picture until my aunt tore the picture up. She told me that Hitler used that symbol, and it was evil. I asked why, and she told me about comunism. I asked if there were any other meanings to this symbol, and she said no. I then asked if I could ask Adolf Hitler to change to a different symbol so I could draw the swastika. She was so enraged, she almost slapped me. I find it odd that my aunt was so angry, and my German grandpa wasn't.

I bought a pentagram necklace and I was worried because many belive to be the symbol of satan; from what i knew the upside down pentagram is the symbol of satanic, not the one I have.
Turning a symbol doesn't mean its evil but people judge too fast. I will wear my pentagram representing what I belive in(frakness , fellowship,purity,courtesy and compassion).

Good video, I think that it is important for people to realize that a symbol in and of it's self holds no meaning, except that which an individual or group of people believe it to mean. These symbols that I am typing (words) mean what they mean only because our culture has assigned meaning to these symbols. The meanings of even this type of symbol is subject to misinterpretation, and change over time, and in different contexts.

Also should be noted that the swastika is also the symbol used by the Basques and found it used on a paphlet once to premote international studies when I was at school. Consquently I carried around a key chain once with the swastika of the Basques. I was told quite alarmedly by some that it was a swastika and that it was evil. I laughed and said no, it's a symbol the Basques use and has nothing to do with what you think it is.

On an architectural drawing from 1854, there are Saturn stones (with rings) on the Salt Lake Temple. For some reason, they were never actually put on the temple and to the best of my knowledge, they are not found on any LDS Temple.
I suppose one could speculate on what the meaning of them could have been, if any at all. I wouldn't worry about it too much though. After all, regardless of what satan likes to take credit for, God created Saturn. :)

Catholics wear the crucific around their neck while many protestants use the traditional cross. I see many Christians who have the fish posted on the back of their car. Why do Christians use these symbols? They represent their faith in Christ. The Star of David (Judaism) uses two triangles. One represents mans ability to speak to God and the other represents God's ability to speak to man.
