I tried doing this, and when i let go of the sleep botton and only held the home button like you said it didnt do anything, it didnt show the picture of the itunes pic and a usb cord.... ugh idk what to do

@Cedesmercy11 ok heres what you DO! 1. have your ipod cord ready to plug in shut down your device then hold the home button and put the ipod cable in right away why its still booting up keep holding the home button then let go when you see your iphone is in recovery mode.

I hate this cuz i did exactly this and i-tunes didnt do anything after it said it was restored and the ipod came back on and its stuck at the apple logo with the loading circle and it will stay like that for a while then it turns off and immediately come back on and does the same thing
