  • F# minor.

  • Hi Tiago! I really like your work, but is there any chance you can upload some tracks with Stevie's vocals? Thanks!

  • Relative Major of Gb is Bb, not A major

  • @GALACTICGATE1111 you mean Bb is the relative major of Gb minor?

  • Is this an studio version?

  • @JimmyPage97 The relative major for Gb minor is A Major.

  • oh my god I love you thanks for this man. Finally some tracks to play to without feeling back about hitting maybe one of out every seven notes SRV is playing at the time

  • I can listen to this and play the guitar part in my head. :)

  • No bass? Or is my computer just to poverty stricken to produce it?

  • Same belt as Jim Morrisson. Sure this belt got a rock power.

  • Hes a boss.

  • Woo srv smoked ciggs too? I freekin knew that shit was cool ... I knew it

  • Great, now just play to this backing track with your guitar behind your back!

  • This is not a SRV song. This song was originally written by the great and very underrated Blues man Larry Davis and not SRV.

  • I think it played in H#

  • @raedwulfone thats danish and german H=B so B# ;)

  • Someone get me a drink at the bar.

  • Half step down played in G

  • all I know is I played the F# minor pent and it sounded decent

    standard tuning

I havent quite figured out the whole other tuning thing....yet

    thanks for the backing track

  • THANK YOU.

  • Finally good good backing in Gb!!!

  • BTW- 69fucku3, not to be a pr1ck or anything but your tonedeaf.. Actually, let me be precise, semitone deaf..

Thanks for the tune, having a gr8 jam

  • Haha, semitone deaf... lol

  • just play 1 fret lower down the neck guys.. let your ears be the judge.. dont worry about retuning..

  • @MrLoogyman

your mother is in his shirt.

  • A box of cigs.

  • @MrLoogyman

oh.....I'm sorry!!!...did you mean in breast pocket?! ...guess cigarettes....

  • @MrLoogyman

    that's a peacock....and it's no shirt!!!

    it's a tatto ;-))

  • didnt mean to thumbs down u my bad

  • thanks for these tracks

  • Nah it's in the key of Fb demolished! I know because my guitars come factory tuned.

  • HAHAHA...started off jamming in G and was like hey that doesn't sound right. My Tele is tuned Standard 440 ;-p

  • it is tunned to g standard try it

  • @69fucku3 its not

  • i know i dint mean to put that it is tuned to e flat standard and played in the key of g

  • Lol? No it's on F# standard... hehe

  • i mean it is tuned a half step down and he played in the key g but i becomes g flat when u tune it down a half step

  • Yeah I know...the thing is I know he plays it in G but down tune half tone so I started playing it in G standard tuning. I know it will be the same in F# ;-)

  • Dude, you are clearly mistaken. This is obviously played on a seven string dropped three half steps and played at the 10th position.

  • don't think so, stevie used 6 string

  • I was making fun of all the tuning arguments going on here. I kinda thought that was obvious, sorry...

  • sorry, didn't get that ;)

  • nice picture

  • Sorry, lowbottomranch, but you're wrong. It's in the key of G flat (or F sharp, though it is better to say G flat) but if you were tuned down half a step, you'd still be playing it in G flat because the backing track's key doesn't change just because you tune your guitar down (it's still the same recording!). Maybe you meant you would be playing with the first position of the pentatonic scale on the third fret instead of the second, which is G flat in standard tuning? Never in F, though.

  • thanks a lot for these backing tracks, thanks :)

  • what tuning is this backing track in. standard or half step down?

  • F#, so half step down like stevie.

  • that is one sick guitar strap SRV is rockin

  • Comment removed

  • no shit.

  • yes he is -.-

  • helicopters are bad, mkay...

  • Nice bass lines. Great bass tone. Snares too loud.

  • half step down tuning, so Gb

  • i thought it was e minor pentatonic :S

  • wich key is this? G right?

  • It's written in G major, but he tunes his guitar a half-step lower than written. So it's in F-Sharp (another comment says G-flat; sure, they're enharmonics, but the key signitures are different. F-sharp is six sharps, and G-flat is six flats).

  • its the same because the sharps and flats of the keys are also enharmonic equivilents. its odd to hear guitarists call this key g flat, i guess i am old school and call it f sharp. isnt foolish bantering fun?

  • I just think this is an awkward key to play in, considering the fact that there's so many sharps. I play trombone, and I had to sightread a piece...in E! I felt sorry for trumpets, flutes, and saxes most of all.

  • it doesn't matter how you call it, but technically g flat would be more appropriate here because SRV wrote it in G and he tuned down half a step, so g flat is more logical.

  • Is that a cigarette pack I'm seeing on SRV's pocket?

  • Yes, cellphones didn´t existed in that time!! Lol.

  • @hehersonjuego No, it's an Ipod.

  • @alienfingers aww I go beat.

  • @hehersonjuego nah that's SRV's BlackBerry. SRV wouldn't do drugs.

  • Thanks

  • nice video ;)

    love you baby <3

  • whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa whoa

    I FORGOT.

    THAT

    IS

  • @tiagolascas sure is. stevie smoked and played allll the time!

  • @glassboysio2 Hell yea XD

  • Do you know Hugh? The answer to your question is Hugh Damn Wright!!!

  • Who or what is Hugh Damn Wright? ☻

  • @Hb35Jazz

wireless guitar transmitter i think :)

  • @Hb35Jazz lucky strikes!!!!

  • awesome! i only wish it was for standard tuning in G, not F#, since my guitars are all in standard tuning. either way, that's a cool backing track. thanks!

  • the strings are tuned to Eflat (Eflat, Aflat....)

  • hes talking about the key the songs in the song is in g but since the song is normally a half step down that would make it in f# but all of these backing tracks you put up are in standard so i do not know what hes talking about

  • lol i dont know what youre listening to but this is in F#

  • @tiagolascas its not in E. Texas Flood is in the key of G and his guitar was tuned down a half step, making it technically F#

  • @branch1234 I think the opening chord is Gb Major but I was playing a Gb blues scale and it sounded bad ass. I'd say the song is not in a major key but if the song is in a Major key it would be Ab?

  • @tiagolascas instead of retuning just move everything up 1 fret, its the same thing

  • Yo man, this is friggin' great, thanks a lot. Ever done the backup for Riviera Paradise, that would be the icing on the cake.

  • Thanks man! Great practice track.

  • thats the greatest srv pic ive ever seen. any clue where i can get that?

  • write srv in google, go to images, i think that photo is in the 3rd page

  • Got it! haha currently my background. great track btw
