  • Not too bad, though I would assume the warlike pagan Aztecs to be the totalitarian imperialists and the taoistic Chinese to be democratic.

  • @AlphaLegionAstartes thanks for watching :)

  • The awesome thing is, in one of the infinitely possible alternate universes, this actually happened.

  • I would like to second the criticisms of the people who commented on this video. While it appeared you put much effort into the making of the video and the Mexica (the proper name of the people that you call "Aztecs") were indeed an advanced civilization, it's simply laughable to think that they would be able to conquer the entire continents of Africa and Europe. As with most alternate history, this is pretty bad by the standards of AH.com.

  • hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm? that's 5 mins 26 seconds of my life gone for sod all.

  • all thought the Aztecs where advanced the weren't that advanced, the hadn't discovered metal working or gun powders. things to there natural surroundings and the natural lack of exploration, left alone they would probable be just beginning to develop these things.

  • im mexican but i have no aztec descent anyway im pretty proud of them, spanish misionaries say that Tenochtitlan was the third biggest city in the world in that time after constantinople and paris

Aztecs were stronger that spaniards but the europeans allied with all amerindian tribes in mexico.

  • U didn't mention anything bout the evolution of technology, without the European colinIzation Ben Franklin wouldn't had discovered electricity and with out the U.S., Germany, and Soviet Union there wouldn't have been any way to get to space

  • @JackIronBot

    HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

  • Alien Space Bats.

    This is implausible

  • @CHAMINADE2015

    More, it's impossible.

  • Years of Rice and Salt much?

  • What's the music called? It's very beautiful. :D

  • @Plantman67 can't remember... some aztec music search I made on youtube :)

  • I beleive the chinese people would have been much more advanced than you portray them here, (Arabs and Indians would have had some influence at the time as well) and would have dominated Europe and Africa well before the Aztecs had a chance to cross the atlantic. I think the main super power at the time would have been the arabian empire, who were already very aggressive in our timeline. they would go on to invade Spain, Italy and Greece much like they did in real life, but they would have won.

  • I've run out of characters left, so i'll continue on a new comment :D

The Chinese were quite peaceful at the time, and would not have fought the Arabs. The Arab Scholars might have discovered the old ruins and scientific discoveries of the old European civilisations, and spread this knowledge around the empire. Then, the arabian empire, too big for its own good would collapse into many emirates. The Emirates based in Europe would have more resources and go on to take over the world, much like us

  • @BorderlineBaguette Thanks for your intelligent comments friend :)

  • @alternatehistorypt Thanks for the intelligent videos :D

  • @BorderlineBaguette you're welcome friend :)

  • @alternatehistorypt this story may have happened in an alternate universe :D

  • @bayart1 yes that is the main idea behind my videos :)

  • Tlaxcaltecs, Olmecs, Mayans and Incas would have stoped Aztecs

  • Love this video,my sister in law is of aztec descent

  • @drnachos glad you liked friend :) and my next video will make something like this possible too although not so easy :)

  • I dont like the fact how the arabs are never included in anything :o Loners xD

  • lol, i LIKE this video

i dont think we would of have conquered over-sea continents though

    AZTEC EMPIRE WILL RISE AGAIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @ConquestAztec glad you liked :) thanks for watching :)

  • your imagination is funny and educative! LOL

  • @lijenchina thanks :)

  • That's a nice song. What is it called?

  • @Crazygirl11683 I do not know unfortunately, I just serched for "aztec music" on youtube :) thanks for watching and liking :)

  • Kim Stanley Robinson imagined something similar in 'The years of Rice and Salt'. The Black Death destroys Europe, Islam and China become dominant powers, Japan and India secondary but India develops technology and Japan colonises western America, giving time for the 'Hodenosaunee' (Algonquin?) to discover a liberal matriarchal Islamic Europe and introduce full democracy. The 'long war' (most of the 20th century?) exhausts China and Islam leaving India and Japan as world leaders by about now.

  • @Saiaton

And the Haudenosaunee are the Iroquois.

  • There Cherokee Dominion would annihilate the Aztecs in two great sweeps. Your people are nothing compared the superior Native Americans, us Cherokees.

  • @TheRadicalRyushin Aztecs were much more intelligent and stronger than cherokees, thats a fact

  • i hate to say it but ive noticed i minor flaw in this video. the aztecs couldnt get to the moon because the industrial revolution wouldnt have happened; queen victoria probably wouldnt have even been heard of. i do love the video though. very good view on things

  • @martianbasilisk it could happen in the Aztec Empire if they survived

  • @alternatehistorypt yeah, good point! :)

  • Very interesting, I have to learn about Aztec:-)

    Aztec flag is very beautiful:-)

  • @SuperAcab666 I do not think they had any flag... I just search for aztec images in google and that appeared to me, but is still very beautiful I also think so :)

  • @alternatehistorypt LOL OK as you see ignorance is strong here, I have to google LOL:-)

  • Interesting clip, I'm a lover of AH. Have you read any of the Kirk Mitchell "Procurator" series? In "New Barbarians" the Aztec never fell as well. However the difference is that neither had the Roman Empire and both finally came to blows until they were as advanced as we are today, or at least the 1920's. I believe that Asia (China, Japan) were giving aid to the Aztec.

  • Sorry, but the "mighty" Aztec empire not even could beat the locals Thaxalas as the absolute power in Mexico when Cortez arrived. In a reallistic alternative history will be impossible for the aztecas to beat the fearless Apache, indomit Comanches and others true warriors tribes of North America. Besides from South America the Incas developed the most extended Empire of the New World, from Colombia to Chile, from Ecuator to Argentina. the little Aztec Empire cannot beat them neither.

  • @TheTrueHistory thanks for watching anyway

  • @TheTrueHistory THE INDIGENOUS PEOPLE OF AMERICA BARLEY HAVE ANY DOCUMENTED HISTORY AND INSTEAD OF HELPING YOU DECIDE TO TALK S.HIT ABOUT OUR PEOPLE....FUK YOU DOUCHE BAG...

  • @ED000111 barley have any documented history we haded books, paintings, and monuments and yet you Europeans think civilizations like the Aztecs the Incas and the Comanches are barbaric? well atlest we didn't start two world wars and didn't control significant land in different continents

  • Comment removed

  • @MrJakys1234566 WOW MY BAD,THAT REPLY WASNT MEANT FOR YOU.....BUT PLS READ "@TheTrueHistory" COMMENTS AND YOU'LL UNDERSTAND THAT MY COMMENT WASNT MEANT FOR THE VIDEO OR MY PEOPLE !!!!! I WAS INSULTING

    "THETRUEHISTORY" !!!!!!

  • @ED000111 f*ck wrong person that was to pose to go to thetruehistory guy sorry if i ment to hurt you

  • In 1521, imagine Cristobal de Olea did not save Hernan Cortes from his Aztec captors during the conquistadors' retreat. The end result would quite likely be an Aztec Empire in the present day.

  • @Imamonarchist thank you for watching :)

  • That was a very nice video, thank you for making it. As for most of the comments here about this would have never have happened, The Mexica Empire, if nothing had interfered with its evolution, would have accomplished great things. Unfortuntly, too many people underestimate the Empire. Once again, thank you for making this video.

  • @INJUNJANE thank you for watching :) and very glad you liked :)

  • all I miss are the exact years all this should happen....

  • @ltmatt90 I do not know too lol anyway thank you for watching :)

  • Interesting, but as far as realism goes, pretty implausible. Just too much of a stretch for a realistic AH scenario. But I don't mind a fun Aztec TL every once in a while. :-)

  • @ZemplinTemplar Ok anyway, thank you for watching :)

  • Very intresting scenario. Europe was very close to becoming primitive again and also the Aztecs would'nt have been able to conquer Europe and Africa. They had no idea about boats. Plausible but China would most likely take over Europe and Afica in your scenario.

  • @gamepro217 Ok :) thank you for watching :)

  • @alternatehistorypt no prob sorry I always critique your vids I'm known for correcting...

  • @gamepro217 No problem :) be cool man :)

  • You shall work in the computers games!

  • @zahaladino Im only a college student :) but who know someday :) thank you for watching :)

  • Funny, but (IMHO) absolutely unrealistic. Because:

    1) If Superepidemic killed Europeans, then why China still there? International trade and contacts have already been sufficiently developed in the 14th century. Civilization in the Middle East, India, China and North Africa should also be destroyed

  • 2) But IF China still alive, then it should be indisputable leader. The Aztecs were much less developed and industrial revolution in China must start at the millenniums earlier than in Mesoamerica.

  • 3) Aztecs even had no Empire (in the strict sense). This was actually the Confederation under the power of Tenochtitlan. But was a real Empire in South America - Incas (centralized state and 10 millions of population). How could Aztecs destroy the Inca Empire?

  • 4) Why Aztecs turned into "democratic/socialist West". IMHO they (unlike China) should be backward theocracy.

    5) Aztecs on Moon in 1969 AD (LOL) Well maybe in 10969 sounds much more realistic...etc...etc.

Anyway, hope you are not offended. It's just a friendly criticism and nothing more

  • @Alex197919 Well you have some points. This video seems more like a phantasy than an alternate history but I think its beautiful anyway. One reason for its possible flaws is that in alternate history as far back the divergence point is, more difficult it is to predict its consequences. But I think really we can never be completely sure about "what might have been" anyway. Oh and anyway, thank you for watching :)

  • @alternatehistorypt Of course, we can't predict some events. But I am 99% sure China would have been a leader in your "world without Europe". The Chinese has gunpowder, primitive cannons, compass, printing press, China has entered in the Age of Discoveries (just remember the Zheng He). Thus, China was the closest analogue of renaissance Europe...

  • ...Now Aztecs: stone & obsidian tools, no horses (or something like), primitive state - analogue of early Egypt or Sumer in New World. The Inca Empire probably - analogue of Assyria or Rome...etc

Sorry for such long speech, just history is my hobby. You have an interesting channel, btw :)

  • @Alex197919 I also love real History too, so no problem :) and you´re welcome in my channel any time you want :)

  • um, if the Black Death wiped out Europe, why did the Asians survive? i don't mean to be racist, but the damn thing came from Asia. if anything, both Europe and Asia should have been completely wiped out. also, 'the Chinese Civilization... dominate the entire Asia'? shouldn't it be 'dominate the entire Asian continent'? all in all, there is some pretty bad grammar and spelling. the idea doesn't even make much sense, compiled together.

  • @z0mb1nat3r Sorry but I made that video late in the night and anyway english is not my first language. Anyway thank you for watching

  • @alternatehistorypt

no problem bro. you have some really great potential in this alternate history, it just needs some refinement, thats all. focus on some smaller events, like maybe the war of 1812 or something, rather than trying to cover 800 years of development. just some friendly advice.

  • @z0mb1nat3r When we try to make an alternate history with the divergence point too far back it get much more difficult its true, however I have more recent scenarious. This one although perhaps a bit too fantastic I think its beautiful :). But yes other may be more likely. See my other videos too :)
