I remember being very upset when I saw this on TV in 2006.
The Japanese media said after Yunas victory at the Junior Worlds 2006:
Yuna is a second rate skater, who could not beat Mao, unless Mao made mistakes.
Only they knew then what they know now

I didn't know she was trying the triple axel in the short then! Mao makes a very playful Carmen...I don't think this was really the right choice of music for her, but she is charming.

I am actually a Cohen fan but I adore Japanese skaters. Aside from Mao and her sister Mai, I first admired Shizuka Arakawa. One thing they all have in common is that they have all the strength to do all these amazing stuffs on ice and they are really great doing those jumps. They're all breath-taking actually. That's why I'm proud to be Asian. But i really love the japanese people. :X

Hmm...me thinks you're a bit jealous because mao bit the dust in tthe 2006 junior world's? Get over yourself. And just as herm712 stated, it's just music. The fact that you put in the perverted part about the killing by the jilted lover reflects on YOU, not the skater who's interpreting the music. Regardless of who plays what part, is that any reason for Mao to have missed her jump combination?
