In order to make it to point B, she can't STOP to cry or complain again; therefore, she's going to keep walking instead. As she's walking, the breeze-the natural breeze outside-is drying her face as opposed to stopping, getting out a tissue, etc.

I love this song and Fiona, and consider her an unusually good writer of lyrics, but I never understood the line quoted by the previous person. A deliberate pace means a slow, steady pace. That's just the kind of pace that wouldn't create a breeze.

That would be fine, except the next line explicitly mentions the breeze drying her face, and this following on the line about the deliberate pace means it's the breeze created by her moving - which, again, wouldn't be created by her moving if she was keeping a deliberate pace. I think Fiona was thinking of the expression "with all deliberate haste", knew what haste meant, didn't know what the expression as a whole meant, and assumed deliberate in that expression meant fast.

The "deliberate pace" is to illustrate her purposefully walking slowly to allow the breeze to dry her face. If she walks too fast, she'll arrive at the "main event" with her face still in tears. I believe that's all she's saying there.
