I think the big deal is that they've added a suspension to a boat, to keep it from riding as rough as other boats.

thanks for the comment. The project actually has several impovements. The boat design is quite a bit more than just suspension. the two hulls have a joint that lets them bend and adjust to waves. Moreover fuel consuption is slashed for anout 1/3 and the "footprint" in the water is 70% smaller, thus allowing to approach wild marine animals without bothering them.
