I have the Ferrari 1100, 2.3 ghz dual core AMD, 4 GB ram, Vista Ultimate 64 bit, 250 gb HD, fingerprint reader, BT mouse, came with leather case, weighs under 3 lbs, and has 4 hour battery life, for me this is perfect as a business notebook. Cost 1200.00

Well, you are entitled to that opinion. I work in R&D related to sound and film soundtracks, and software development. I need the specs not the Ferrari sticker. Ask a musician how many instruments they have, you will be shocked. My kid (32) has like 10 guitars, 5 amps a Piano, and 2 digital kbds.

I have about 90 computers in my home data center. 20 are Macs. I need about 20 at a time, the rest I keep as backups/parts. It has nothing to do with attention seeking, scientists need hardware.

my boss bought a $3000 acer ferrari laptop. It worked for 3 days then overheated and burned out the processor. He returned it under the warrenty. When he got it back, it worked for another 3 day and similar happenings occured. This time he could not return it as acer's lovely warrenty service only replaces the laptop once. Apparently most of the grounds inside it were busted and the case fan didnt turn on when it was supposed to. I sold the remains for $50 though

my dad has a ferrari 5000. Its much better than my black macbook in feel, style, and form. I know what I'm talking about. If my black mackbook were encased in carbon rubber instead of that stupid flat black pain that wears off I'd be much happier. if it had a neat tie in to do a special edition for porsche, Maserati, Aston Martin, Jaguar, or something I think that would be awesome.
