Let's be honest most people get abortions because they feel like the baby is an accidental mistake. Let's be honest most people get abortions because they feel like the baby is an accidental mistake. They just want an easy fix to the problem so they just use the excuse that the baby is part of the mother so they have the right to kill it. I have two children and when I had my first ultrasound, I thought there would be this lifeless form on the screen but that wasn't the case. They were wiggling all over the place. Your analogies are incorrect, you're using groups that are already alive, already have experiences, have already been born. A foetus has not been born, and if it were aborted, it wouldn't know or care in any way. Heck, if I had been aborted, do you think I would care? Nope.

@slowalker700 - Yeah whatever buddy. I'm done with you telling me what I can and can't do with my own body. Fact is, when a foetus is inside another person, it is living of THEM. It is draining their energy, living off their resources. No way does it say in any rule, law or constitution that a 'human' has the right to live inside another human. Therefore, if a foetus doesn't have a right, it has a permission, And frankly, permission denied.

Secondly, did you know a lot of fertilized eggs that would OTHERWISE develop into humans is actually flushed out of a woman's body? Is that also a crime?

Yes it possess characteristics of a living organism, but it does not possess characteristics of a living, breathing human. It cannot be 'murder' if it is not yet a human. Just like an egg is not yet a chicken, a foetus is not yet a human. This is not a difficult concept.

@slowalker700 - If a foetus is categorised as alive, how come it cannot survive outside the womb (up to a certain point)? How come it can still be born dead, or be a miscarriage? It is merely potential life, simply getting energy, nutrients and support from the mother, who provides everything from her body for it to develop to a stage where it can finally support itself.

Your arguments on why we should protect unborn rights is at a catch 22. You are so obsessed with protecting a foetus that to do so, you must forgo another's rights - the rights of the woman carrying the baby. @FreedomForOrcas You would say that a woman has rights to terminate a child because of her emotional well being? I do believe that doctors are supposed to and DO try all things to make sure mother and child are healthy. There are no recorded cases I can find where a woman had to kill her unborn child to survive. There are cases where the mother and child are both in danger and the doctor must make the best effort to save both and sometimes they can't. Abortion in all situations is wrong.
