I am a huge metalhead and punk fan and I love Hank's rowdy side, but sometimes I just wanna sit him down and tell him to make music like this, Lovesick, Broke and Driftin, and that second disc of Straight to Hell. But at the same time, you can't force it otherwise he becomes like all of those phonies on Music Row.

This album is so underrated. Hank III could be a top country star if he stuck to classic country. Thankfully, he refuses to sell out and continues with both outlaw and classic country sound. Great mix.
