If I had the choice of supporting a team which peaked once in 2003, and has been average ever since, or a team which not only is statistically the best rugby team ever (74.5% win rate overall), as well as being one of the most successful teams of any sport ever, I'd have to choose the AB's any time.... and besides... what about 1987? In most kiwi's minds 2003 is as long ago as 1987, because it's not what a team played like in one month 6 or 10 or 20 years ago.
