@myshirtgoeswtf Calypso is not evil I know she loved Davy Jones..but she is a goddess, a mighty and wild being by nature (a beautiful one at that)....she probably did know that she wouldn't return but she loved him and wanted to hang on to him even if she knew things might turn out the way they did between them. A wild goddess trapped in her limited human form...one who can control all the seas of the world at a whim. She is a free spirit like Jack not evil. Note..she isn't truly human.
