That occurs frequently when artists appear on those talk shows. They rarely give them the chance to perform the entire song. Unfortunate for the artists, and apparently equally unfortunate that some viewers blame production timing constraints on the artist. Having seen Daughtry in concert, I can tell you that he is more talented and professional than many more seasoned and experienced artists.
