I found an other video on YouTube about service cats for autistic kids. I am amazed.
Looked On google- There's even a Vietnam vet in USA who uses a service cat for help with PTSD.
I am now an adult. I'm on the autistic spectrum, I think.
Growing up, I was very close with my cat, who learnt to trust me a lot. As I lay in bed, she would come sit on my chest, under the duvet, purring. Her head would be out of the covers.
When she (the cat) was in the right mood, I could hug , much like a t
@RegentsAlbany Cats are certainly overlooked on the list of therapy animals. But I think even elephants with their high intelligence, could be good therapy animals too.
@RegentsAlbany He does tug his tail, and the cat is able to show where the limits are. He could easily escape if he wasn't happy. Sometimes Pushkin claws my wife or Sophie, but never the autistic ones, it's like he understands. The rule in our house is this, if you get scratched, it's your own fault, the sympathy goes to the cat.
@usenetposts Thank you, Davey. I have not completely vanished from the halls of Youtube. I am still studying Руский Язык and am making very slow, but enjoyable progress. I have garnered a new Russian language coach in the form of a Russian ex-pat who lives in my town in California. Russians are everywhere! LOL
@kenbank do you know channel "syzygycc" which is Claude from upstate New York? He is making a polyglot project which it would be great if you were involved in, Ken.
@Amiduffer He seems to regard them as a great delicacy, and is unperturbed by our imprecations for him to leave them alone. Thankfully there are no poisonous ones in Poland.
The good thing about animal therapy like your cat here is that it does not charge you alot of money. Instead it is very happy to help your son in a way we humans cant.

What if the boy tugs the tail, the cat feels pain and claws his face?
Is there any risk if the cat being injured or thrown of the balcony?

@seeyou414 You're right. He doesn't take any money at all, just politely ignores it and leaves it behind if you give him any.
