This is by far the best amateur youtube racing video I've seen. Why? Because the guy knows he's gonna be smoked; he knows the other guy has "more" than he does under the hood and yet he takes it all in stride. He's thrilled with he fact that the guy's gonna smoke him because just watching the lambo-as much as people here would deny it-accelerate so quckly right next to you is fun. A car is a car. The Dodge stratus guy didn't lose a testicle over this, because the car doesn't define him. Nice.

Even with radials on a Shelby that puts out "1,000 hp" you still wouldn't run 0-60 in 2.7 seconds because the tires are so thin. My Camaro still spins the tires with 10 inch wide radials on the back, and it's making nowhere near the power of a Veyron.

You're the one lying to people on Youtube. If you have a 1,000 hp Super Snake put a vid up that shows a dyno slip and a quarter mile or 0-60. And all I have to do is google Super Snake to see what options are available. You really want to argue about this?

It's funny how you assume I don't have a brain when you don't know me. If this conversation is about intelligence, your poor grammar explains a lot. Even with radials on a Shelby that puts out "1,000 hp" you still wouldn't run 0-60 in 2.7 seconds because the tires are so thin. My Camaro still spins the tires with 10 inch wide radials on the back, and it's making nowhere near the power of a Veyron.

im not talking about radials , im talking drag slicks. and if you have 1000 hp your not driving it everday to work or getting lunch. so why dont you put some wrinkle wall mickeys or hoosiers on it, would make more sence to me , only a moron would run radials , and sorry about my grammer my keyboard is fucked lol. i have drag radials on my 450 hp 91 mustang and i spin all day too the compound of the radials are to soft ,for the 1000hp ride i would suggest running a harder compound for street app.

Yeah but I looked on his channel and his tires look stock width or close to it. Width of rear tires means something regardless of what choice you make between radials, slicks, street tires... When my Camaro had 8s on it there was no way to get it to move unless you idled everywhere lol... but seriously everyone knows the problem with the new Shelbys is the small tires, which was all I was pointing out. No hard feelings.
