  • FRIGGIN EPIC

  • Nicely done! It sucks that its so hard to get your hands on Stikfas up in Britain :(

    I've only got 3 XD

  • sux that it's no longer available. :(

  • does not deserve so many views.

  • True, it's so crude! You'd think it was this guy's first attempt at any kind of stop-motion.

    Oh wait. It was.

  • Which is why I am saying, doesn't deserve so many views. No offense, man, you are probably alot better now.

Take a look at my first attempt, /watch?v=YmKYOMdIi4A Now I am not saying it is better, I am saying mine got 5000 and yours got 22000.

  • @lipdancejosh I think its good, go troll somewhere else.

  • @assasinbob1 Thanks, man!

  • WOW! I like...grew up with that same printer brand and model in my house...

  • i liked when you took the body part out so it looked like you stabbed him smart move!

  • i love stikfas but i still don't have it even though i visit their website everyday i wish i had one it would be so cool.awesome vid by the way it rocks

  • Thanks, mate! Hope you can get yourself some Stikfas real soon!

  • @raphy223 Tried ebay?

  • Thanks, mate! It was just some default 'dissolve' transition.

  • this is sparta

  • It sure is!

  • you shoud make more videos!

  • I really want to, but what with work and university starting soon, it's hard to find the time. Plus, I'm making an online comic now, too, and that takes up time as well.

But you can bet that I'll try to make shorts when I can!

  • Great video! I do stikfas myself so i know how hard it is!

  • Thanks a lot! They are tricky and balance is an issue, too, but it's always a lot of fun!

  • an easy solution to balance is to put a bit of clay at the bottom of their feet

  • I use blue sticky tack for the bottom of their feet, which helps, but depending on the pose, you can't always expect them to stand, you know what I mean?

  • yeah

  • you could buy some tie down magnets

  • Meh. The blue sticky tack works well enough. Some people are really hardcore and drill out some plastic from their Stikfas' feet and put magnets in them. Looks great when done on Stikfas Spider-Men!

  • uhhh alot of stikfas come with holes in their feet already for magnets

  • Uhhh, ALL Stikfas come with square holes in their feet for accessories and stuff. I don't have magnets of the right size/shape to fit in their. And magnets are only useful on magnetic surfaces.

  • Great job the blue oyster cult is a great band

  • Thanks, rypelemin! The Blue Oyster Cult is classic.

  • Dude this song is the best and the animation is amazing Great Job

  • Thanks for checking it out! Glad you liked it.

  • how the f**k can anything be any beter than this. this looks so cool and that phantom at the end looks like he's gonna be a star if you make a part 2 to this. it looks so cool and scary

  • Thanks, dadsbigman! Happy you enjoyed it. If I make another, you can bet the Phantom'll be back.

  • That Was One Of The best Stikfas Vids I've Seen. How Did you get it So Smooth O_O Nice Work.

  • Thanks!

  • cool

  • Thanks, Tetrablob! This was my first attempt at any kind of stop-motion work, and I'm surprised it came out as well as it did. That being said, I think I improved my skills, and it shows in the Bad Mother Truckers shorts.

  • lol i saw ur vid a long time ago and heard this song on rockband and i needed to find this video :)

  • awesome u should make more

  • Nice job.

  • Thanks!

  • great movie, nice and smooth ^_^ the reaper came out of a printer LOL 9/10

  • Thanks for the comment! Yup, the Reaper haunted my old inkjet printer. Maybe that's why it doesn't work anymore...

  • great movie, one of the best ever. the reaper came out of an inkjet printer lol ^_^

  • I liq this song! is thw asylum edition of the reaper still in stock or is it discontinued?

    I liq ur video!

  • Thanks for the kind words, Xrider15! I'm not sure if the Reaper's Asylum Edition is still being produced, but if you look around online you might be able to find it. It's sold out at the Big Bad Toy Store, unfortunately...

  • On big Bad Toy store it doesnt say Asylum Editionbut does tht mean every reaper can come with the seperate cloak?

  • On BBTS there's a box with the Red Reaper on it, but there's this black circle next to him. Click on that one. Look at the bigger image, and the black circle should be a sticker that says "For our friends in the Asylum," or something like that. The other picture, the one that shows the contents of the kit, shows that both the red and white cloaks are there. That's the Asylum edition! I'm not sure if all of theirs is the Asylum edition, you'd have to ask them.

  • Kool i found it on a site im not telling cuz ppl will buy and itll be sold out

  • nice effects...did you customize the white reaper or buy it?

  • The White Reaper is from the Asylum Edition of the Reaper's re-release. It includes a Glow-in-the-dark Reaper figure, a lot of accessories and Stikers, and 2 cloaks: one red, one white.

  • Thanks for the comment!

I get my Stikfas from a store in Montreal called Legends Action figures, but you can buy them online from stores like Big Bad Toy Store, and the Stikfas website.

  • love this video!! it's awesome!! i can't stop watching it!!

  • Happy you enjoy it! Thanks for watching.

  • Nope, I buy mine from Legends Action Figures in Montreal, and I got some for free from Meanwhile UK, the UK distributors of Stikfas, for allowing them to use this video at an expo in London.

  • This is simply amazing. Fantastic direction and nice, smooth convincing animation. A lot of work went into this! I've done stop-animation before and it is incredibly time-consuming! I can't wait to check out the rest of your stuff!

  • Thanks a lot, Amy! I really appreciate your kind words. If you liked this, you should check out the Bad Mother Truckers videos, a stop-motion series I made.

  • that was way cool, I like the way the Reaper fazes out.

  • you should make a second video to this. 5/5 :-)

  • I have one planned, I just have to get around to it.

  • nice i love the song.

  • Classic song is classic!

  • Mobster all the way!

  • nice song dude :)

  • Thanks, mate!

  • mobster is the best stikfa along with the rockstar

  • The Mobster is great. I bought the Stikers Band with the Rockstar, Popstar, and 2 G2 Alpha Males. It's amazing.

  • what kind of camera did you use and where did you get it

  • I used a Canon PowerShot A95. You can find digital cameras at electronics stores.

  • where did you get the stikfas?

  • I bought mine from Legends Action Figures in Montreal, but you can find them at many online retailers and specialty toy/hobby shops.

  • this vid is 1 of my favorites

  • Awesome! Thanks, I'm happy you like it!

  • stikfas + printer = stupid ghost lol!!!

  • Basically. I guess it takes one dumb ghost to haunt an old Hewlett-Packard!

  • Stikfas are made entirely out of plastic, but they are made of solid plastic. I've seen people drill holes in the feet and glue magnets in there.

  • weak + solid plastic.

  • The plastic isn't very strong, but I meant 'solid' as in 'not hollow.'

Except for some special figures, like the Viking's upper body, I think.

  • MORE COWBELL!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • I got a fever, and the only prescription is more cowbell.

  • sorry i rated this 3 stars. i meant 5. :(

  • It's all good. Thanks for watching!

  • the best vid i ever seen about stifkas 275676756775698645767809087578466847438869458765894876576089464579908857673452373464723468345224725/5

  • i loved the music and the animation. i can tell there was lots of effort put into this video.

  • thats so good! i wish i had good enough ideas to make something like that. plus i need more stikfas figures.

  • cool

  • very cool were can i buy thos stikfa ???? i live in netherlands :S i cant find any were :S NICE MOVIE !

  • Thanks, mennorino!

If you can't find Stikfas in your area, you can buy them online from reputable stores such as BigBadToyStore and the Stikfas website's shop.

  • amazon have them

  • Yeah, I think so.

  • join swapitshop the official people sell them for cheap(in swapits lol)

i brouth 4 packs which are worth 30 quid but won it for liek 3 quid on there

  • Woah! You got a great deal!

  • thats tops!hey what cam did u use?

  • I shot this on my Canon PowerShot A95.

    Thanks for watching!

  • what animation is that???

  • The animation style I used is crappy first-time, inexperienced stop-motion. I hope I've gotten better since!

  • no like stop motion pro or ???

  • Oh, you mean what program did I use? Believe it or not, I made this in Windows Movie Maker (I hate that unstable feature-less program) because I hadn't properly configured Adobe Premiere.

  • i like your mouse when you see the firefighter

  • Thanks! It's a great mouse, the Logitech MX-518 gaming mouse. I've pwned many a n00b with this mouse!

  • wat is the name of this song its awsome

  • The song is called 'Don't Fear the Reaper' by the Blue Oyster Cult.

  • The song was awesome! So was the vid in general.

  • HI D

  • im only getting 2 stickfas to start with

  • can't wait til christmas. I'm getting 3 packs of stikfas.

  • I gadda learn how to edit video let alone make cool stuff like this..

My camera does video, but its all quicktime and I don't know how to edit that stuff :(

thanks for the video, great soundtrack!

  • blue oyster cult and stikfas. just freekin awesome

  • Thanks! I also used cotton balls and flashlights to simulate muzzle flash in my Bad Mother Truckers videos. Cheap special effects rule!

  • wow, great work! =D

  • HI D

  • Hello.

  • Thankz for joining :D

  • No problem, buddy. I added 2 movies to the group. Sorry I haven't responded to your messages. Whenever I try to send them to you, I get an error.

  • nice vid and plz join my stikfas group cause i know that you can make a difference in this clan :)

  • It won't let me send my response to your message, I keep getting an error. I'd be glad to join, though, just send me an invite!

  • Needs more cowbell.

  • brilliant! not too long not too short, good effects, good music, awesome video, please make a sequel!!!! (5 stars!)

  • I'm still writing the sequel (I know that sounds weird since there's no dialogue) and I'm aiming to shoot it over my Christmas break. Thanks for watching!

  • man i wish evil grim reapers came out of my printer. i am so jealous >:(

  • that was cool...i liked the grim reaper type stikfa

  • sequel?

  • It's on my to-do list! I might work on it during my Christmas break.

  • good that was pretty cool who sings that

  • The song is called 'Don't Fear the Reaper' by the band Blue Oyster Cult.

  • that is 1 amazing video i'd make 1 with my stikfas if it wasnt so late in the day, what program did u use to make this by the way?

  • MS Movie Maker, believe it or not...

I didn't get my Adobe Premiere installation set up when I shot this, so I thought, what the hell, I'd us BS Movie Maker. Big mistake.

  • that is my fav song man i love ur vid

  • what do you use to make them stay in an unstable position? I don't like to use tape.

  • I used blue sticky tack.

  • Though the song might not be great for a fight scene, I think it's pretty clear why I chose it...

  • very nice. you make excellent use of dramatic camera angles to tell the story. i am very impressed.

  • how long did it take u 2 make this

  • About a week. It would have taken me much longer, but this is my first attempt at stop-motion, so since I wasn't skilled, I went quickly (which really shows in the crappy animation!).

  • Keep on making movies, you'll find yourself improving the smoothness and animation quickly.

  • I know what you mean. Check out my 'Bad Mother Truckers' videos, they look much better than my Stikfas fight.

  • will u make a sequel???

  • Eventually, yeah. I have the story planned and an idea of which song to use. I'm hoping to get a car chase in there!

  • how do u make them fall?

  • I'm cheap. Notice that when they fall they aren't entirely in frame!

  • that was so cool when he blew up the fire extinguisher

  • that wase'nt a fire extinguisher, it was an tank with explosives in it like propane, or gasoline.

  • Actually, the piece I used was the fire extinguisher that came with the Stikfas Firefighter. Since fire extinguishers are pressurized, they'll explode when shot (at least in video games and movies!).

I would have used a propane tank, but I didn't know what to use to make it clear that it was a propane tank.

  • howd you do the disolve effect

  • It's just some crappy default effect.

  • Flawless... I loved the fades out, and the general movement over all. Excellent work! Love the song, and what were the figures you were using?

    4 out of 5 stars!

  • Happy you enjoyed it! The figures I used are Stikfas, GI Joes, and a Gundam model.

For more about Stikfas, check out Stikfas[dot]com

  • I get most of mine from Legends Action Figures, an awesome store in Montreal.

  • pretty cool

  • You find them at the Stikfas website as well as many fine online retailers.

  • Also, you can find them in some specialty toy stores/comic shops/hobby shops. You can't just walk into a Toys R Us or Walmart and expect to find them.

  • so you could get stikfas in hobbytown usa?(florida?)

  • I have no idea. Your best bet is to give them a visit (assuming that's a brick and mortar store) and ask them. If not, you can try sites like BigBadToyStore[dot]com, or from the official shop at Stikfas[dot]com.

  • ok but im only 10 and my grandparents wouldnt buy me them they would think it would be too silly

  • lol

  • Great use of the Shockini binoculars....seems stikfas fans are also kini fans get the whole figure at our site in our profile shockertoys[dot]com!

  • Actually, those binoculars came with the Phantom.

  • Really? Why would a phantom need binoculars?

  • I'm not sure, but he came with them, and I'll be using them in my next Stik Flick, too. They're so cool!

  • I really like the Riddle versions of Stikfas cheaper and cooler colors. But weird that the bino's look just like the ones that came with our kit since their creation in 2003. Very cool video though hope you try your hand at animating some shockinis. There has been a few movies already using kins on youtube just search under Shockinis. Oh also good use of the song!

  • I WANT THOSE PHANTOM FIGURES

  • The Phantom is great. The glow-in-the-dark is a nice touch, the accessories are really nice, and the 2 cloaks (Asylum Edition) are awesome.

  • that's so cool... 0_o

  • Nice work.

  • loved it what cam did you use

  • I used a Canon PowerShot A95. It's a simple point-and-shoot. I'm not crazy about it (I'd love to get a DSLR), but it does the job.

  • how much the two cam go for yours and the other one

  • Not sure. I got my camera from my older brother. DSLRs are damn expensive, though.

  • Ha ha ha. That was very original! Kudos to you!

  • That was nice. Great work.

  • Pretty cool dude!

  • Great video! I particularly liked the way you animated smoke effects.

  • Great!

The animation was well done, I especially LIKED the choppy-ness. It reminded me of anime or a video game cut scene.

  • Great job! We want Stikfas!

  • that was pretty good!

4/5 stars because the animation was a bit choppy in some parts, but still really good!

  • i need to get some stikfas. They make some great stop motion characters. I like using transformers my self. A permutation would be awesome though.

  • I would have used some Transformers, but I couldn't fit them into the movie. The Gundam was easier to work with as well as 'blow up.' No way I'm taking apart my 20th Anniversary Optimus Prime!
