This is not completely accurate. Like she says, the puppy can be calm because he just got a shot or something like that. When I got my puppy from a shelter he was TOO calm, I brough him home and he fell asleep right away. Minutes later I fed him and turned out he was hungry and that's why he had no energy to be playful. He had his food, and got CRAZY (in a good, energetic way.)

1 in 20 Ridgebacks are born w/out a ridge. Why do u need 2 know? Because those healthy puppies are up 4 adoption @ shelters. Think about it. 

Don't give ur money 2 a breeder OR a pet store. Search ur LOCAL SHELTER 4 ur next best friend. That helps ur community plus u are LESS likely 2 adopt a sick dog because shelters will NOT save the sick. They don't have space. Save ur $ and save a life!

I get a new puppy in about 5 weeks! I am sooooo excited. they were born about a week ago, so they still have to be winged! But I am counting down the weeks until I get to meet my new best friend! And I'm getting him/her during the summer which is good so I will have more time to play with him/her. This video really helped me know which one I should pick! By the way, I am getting a German Short-haired pointer! So excited!

Golden retrievers are great dogs! we had one for 11 years! well I was like five when rusty died...... my next dog is going to be a golden cuz they're the best dog ever! better than labs because golden retrievers don't shed that much cuz they have long fur. i mean yeah they still shed but not as much as labs do cuz labs have short fur and goldens have long fur I really would like my mom to get another golden it's been seven years since rusty died.....

No of course you cant test a puppies personality. It's a puppie and it's personality will be more or less what you make it.

BUT you can test a puppies temperament!! I would recomend to test the temperament before you choose a puppy. Maybe it's not that important if you want to get you a Golden Retriever but if you look for a guard dog or generally a big dog, you should test them.
