I know what you mean, remember when this vid was shot he was still on pills, and drinking. For the I-Empire tour he's stopped both and you can tell. The voice on that tour isn't exactly like Studio, but it's far better then the previous, and definetly good enough. I think the 08 KROQ performance shows he's improoved. I think he sounds better with a little echo added, which I think they did on I-Empire tour. But thats how i think he needs to sound. Theres a live DVD soon or I-Empire tour :)

We Don't Need To Whisper is an amazing album, but it's not commercial, the songs are too complex, its a "heavy" album, long intros, too many guitar riffs, they are difficult to digest, subjective, left to be interpretated by each listener, if you know what I'm trying to say...

WDNTW is a masterpiece, but doesn't have a commercial appeal...

I-Empire will be more accessible, but i think it will be a great album too!
