It's saying "something's gotta give". They can't dwell together, in the sense that there will be havoc when they try to. Not saying it's impossible for them to try to. Jesus says "get behind me, Satan!" to Peter. Ananias and Saphira- both Christians- were asked "why has satan so filled your heart?"

If you're husband has cheated on you 10 times, you'd have to have a lot of faith that he wouldn't cheat on you the 11th time. Science on the other hand, is the opposite of faith. With science, conclusions can always be changed with new evidence. The "faithful" continue to believe regardless of evidence.

My Sunday School teacher at church told me that Christians can not be demon possessed. We had an ex high satanic priest turned pastor come talk at our church. He ended the night by praying for people. This same dear sister in Christ ended up manifesting a demon. She was walking with a cane at the time. Experiences does not prove anything! Many people are deceived by their experience and feelings. See Gen 27:22! Only the voice (the word of God) can reveal us the truth.

Juda and Saul were not born again. Nobody could before Pentecost in Acts 2. Read John 7:39 and 16:7. The period of the church is different from the period of the old covenant and so the Holy Spirit acts differently (see Jud 15:14-15 and Rom 15:13 or Mat 5:39).

@lesv84 Question: where did the Jews who were casting out demons before Jesus began his ministry learn to cast them out? Clearly they knew how (from experience), and were casting them out. Jesus asked "how do your sons cast them out?", acknowledging that they did. Does the old testament explain how to cast them out? No. It's really mind-blowing when you finally realize this stuff is all real, and some parts of it are learned outside the bible- NOT in contradiction. Outside it. Hinted by it.

In fact there is no order by Jesus to his church in general or by any apostle's letter to cast out demons.

There is also no demonized man who believes in Jesus Christ anywhere in the bible. This is to think of men above that which is written (1Cor 4,6).

There is only the command: "Repent ye, and believe the gospel" (Marc 1,15) and

"Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him ... reckon ye also yourselves" (Rom 6,6+11)

Also is not every disease from Satan. This is not biblical!

I have to say - in my expereince Christians can be demonised...

I met a Christian who had been freed from Schizophrenia for 25 yrs.. He was a Christian before he got Schizophrenia. To cut to the chase - God healed him from Schizophrenia. but he had infact been demonized for years by 3 Demons.

@LaMOi1 Yes absolutely Christians can be demonically oppressed, but never truly possessed. In Luke 22:3 we see how Satan can enter even a follower of Jesus, Judas Iscariot. In Mark 1:23 Jesus encountered a man in a synagogue with an unclean spirit. Going to church or knowing ABOUT Jesus doesn't free you at all. You must know Jesus. Christians must repent (that is how demons receive authority over you) from sin and cast these spirits out through prayer. God bless.

Yes this is a real ministry. I was indwelled by demons, and I am not ashamed to say it because before they came out there is a physical reaction, a retching from deep within, as the word and faith begins to do its work. Repentance is the key, and yes christians can be demonized especially those who have been delivered from demons but they return to the word drinking and smoking. Opens the devils door into your soul. God is in control.
