@scrappy452 Ok, i looked your video. Why the ram air is removed ? I suggest you to reput the raim air, because you lose some hp ! I think your rear sprocket is stock (41T). The 998cc kit up the power to 160-165 whp normally and i dont think it's enough power to go 205 mph. Because, i raced at mile mark event and with 200-210 whp 18T front(+2) and 35T rear (-6) and i reach 203.38 mph @ 11200 rpm. The stock speedo is off by 10% and more at high speed. Put a GPS and you know how fast is your bike.
I have a zx9 fully built its now a 998cc. It has header back titanium 5 pound Muzzy exhaust. Its lowered and stretched 6 in.. It will top out at 205 at 11,500. It runs out of foot torque by then. Oh and the dino papers says it make 172 HP at 108.
@scrappy452 The 998cc kit is a good way for up the power n/a. But, i'm go with turbo because i want alot of power !!! What is your gearing for go to 205 mph @ 11500 rpm ?
Looks like a lot of fun, any dyno hp and torque numbers? And is this a carbureted motor? If so, nice work turbo'ing a carbed bike, I know someone that turbo'ed an older GSXR-1100 and it wasn't exactly easy! :)
@ryanridesabike Thanks, yes my bike is carbureted. That work, but is not the best with turbo. Injection fuel is more suitable for turbo bike. I don't go on dyno with 11 psi and all dynos not read same numbers. On dynojet 250i, it's will be around 200 whp with 11 psi.
@89Dirtydan89 Sorry, R1 in first gears can't reach 100 mph in first gear. If you tell that, it's because you have never ride with a GPS on a bike. You don't know the speedometer is off by 10-15% ???
