  • I SAW THIS ON THE RADIO

  • FYI, I can now see the flashing beacon from my desk today, 28 Sep 2009, due to the cloud cover. It currently says P-I-T-T-S-B-U-R but it stops there. The G from G-20 must have left and gotten the H out of there. :) (I know, I know - hey, it made ME laugh!)

  • i saw it on the kdka news too

  • haha just saw that on kdka news

  • fail

  • I heard about this on NPR yesterday. Interesting how very few people paid attention to this until someone figured out the error.

  • Saw this in the PG the other day cracked me up because that is so annoying if you live at Duquesne haha

  • Heard you on NPR.

A part's been sent ouf for repair.

No word on if that's the guy that programmed the more code.

Dot dot dot dash dash dash dot dot dot

  • Fallout 3 DLC: The Pitet

  • kudos for that.

  • Pitetsbkrrh sounds sort of French-Croatian.

    Hilarious

  • just heard about this on All Things Considered, haha

  • Deranged computer after lightning hit?

  • Pitetsbkrrh's goin' to the Super Bowl, here we go.

  • So that's how you spell it :0

    Great catch!

  • What a screw-up 'n 'at!!

  • Well, only one thing to do....officially change the name of the city!

Then ever'thin'll be down in the 'Bkrrh!

  • It occurs to me...the "T E T" sequence happens so quickly, becasue the "E" dot is an "extra" flash between the T's, that maybe all of that should be taken together as code for ONE letter, which would be "K" -- which makes sense, because it's often thought that locals tend to say "Piksburgh"! (Or in this case, "Piksbkrrh"...)
