This was actually a very good movie. I'm saying this because I disliked many of Boll's movies, especially the Bloodrayne series.

This one is filmed wonderfully, the acting is amazing, it's a deep and difficult movie to watch. It immensely fixed Boll's reputation in my eyes. I think it's a bit underrated, though.

I dont cry often but when i so this movie how people and brothers are killing each other cracked me up..Specially the kids. What have they done to deserved to be burnt alive or chopped their body in 5 pieces..We never learn from history and sometimes im ashamed to be human..

im not exactly a fan of Boll's films and ive not seen this one, but fair play for attempting to do a movie on this sort of thing. Genocide happens on a daily basis. Thousands of people have been dying every week long before 9/11

Dieser Film zeigt endlich das wahre Gesicht dieser Welt.Ich war so geschockt das ich noch nach dem Fil Stunden heulte.Leider wird es wohl wieder irgendwo zu einem nächsten Genozid kommen und die Welt schaut einfach weg.Wie schon 9 Jahre vor Darfur in Ruanda.Hoffentlich können die Geschichten dieser Menschen und dieser Film was ändern.

Bullshit! The Janjaweed are as black as the Fur people. The only difference is the culture and language.To portrait those bandits as Middle Easterners just adds to more controversy. So this is not realistic or authentic at all. People with no knowledge should not attempt to make such movies.

Let's face it people: when Uwe Boll isn't making crappy video game movie adaptions, he's making some of the best films out today.

Boll is the master of showing us the dark side of humanity; I've simply never seen a more grim and true depiction than what I've seen in what I like to call Boll's "true" movies.

@defcon2XX8 um no, he's not at all, if you have even seen previous movies, mostly based on video games you can tell that he doesnt care at all about the movie, that makes the actors not care at all, and that what makes his movies shit, postal was barely okay, and this looks pretty good for his slandered, cheap yes, but storyline sounds interesting. he's hated alot in the movie industary, but maybe this movie will help him succeed.
