I lived in Gib for 18 years! Beleive me you got off lightly here. I saw these smart little critters take a video camara from someone,take it out onto an overhanging branch and wait until a suitable bribe of food was forthcoming. It was one of the funniest things I have ever seen!
These monkeys were definitely a highlight of our trip. I was laughing so hard my stomach hurt and I had tears in my eyes! I was actually the first to get a monkey on my head, but when I tried to hand Howard the camera, they started jumping on him. Camera in hand I was able to capture the moment!
Wow, those creatures can leap! I guess they do not have claws, as I would have thought Howard would have been screeching. Boy, that water was BLUE!!! I can see why writers refer to it as the Deep Blue Sea.
