I was once put on the news for a very similar reason. I was in fifth grade but I didn't get to tape it :( I kinda wish I had. Anyway, that was cool how you turned such a crappy experience into something positive.

As far as I know, no. I lost the legal battle (like...the 88 year old man who hit me didn't lose his license or anything). Had something actually happened to him, I think something would have changed. But the jackass blamed the entire thing on me. He said I tripped out of my shoes as I was walking past his car. I'd like to know the last time anyone tripped, lacerated their spleen and had their shoes fly at least 8 feet away from them.

Hahahaha. Well, I made a really big deal about the fact that I was wearing a Hufflepuff, a Hogwarts jacket, and a HP watch. When I got to the emergency room they wanted to cut it all off and I started freaking the fuck out. They went to go cut off my watch and I was all "OMGWTF?!?!" and they're like "Ok ok ok..." like I was insane. I couldn't save the shirt though and I got really mad about it.
