I loved this song from the first time i heard it on the radio. DWDM fm radio station used to play this everyday during the 80s and most of the time i heard it from Moody Jam's program. Inlove na inlove ako sa kantang ito. Madalas kapag kinakanta ko ito akala nila bago or original ko kasi nagagandahan din sila. Hindi na kasi ito minsan man napapatugtog sa radyo. Thanks for posting this video matagal ko na ito hinahanap kasi dati diko ito makita.

I dedicate this song to my beloved brother who past away on september 27,2009. i remember he used to love this song when we first heard it( i don't exactly remember the year) he told me that the song was made for him (medyo na-inis pa nga ako no'n sabi ko.".yabang mo" ).anyhow, wherever he is now...we love you brother and we miss you! the song is exact picture of him..thanks to verna!

Salamat to whoever posted this. I knew Verna in the Philippines back in 1979-80, at the Cork Room Cellar in Olongapo. Great singer, great guitar player. She won best new artist that year and could be heard on the radio all over Southeast Asia. Don't know where she is now though. Anyone?

I knew Verna as well. She also sang at the Pizza Hut down the street too. My room mate "Dave Jackson" and I used to hang out with her a lot. He and her were an item for a while. She was a very frinedly down to earth woman. I have a 45 copy of this song that she gave me. I and my wife both wonder where she is now...
