There's an option on the DD-3 that let's you record 2-3 seconds (I don't remember exactly) and then when you have something going in the loop, you turn the 'feedback' (again, don't remember exactly) knob and you can make it go faster or slower :P

@w1ll1a9m all you have to do is turn the delay rate up and down while it's in the "Hold" mode and it does that. All Boss Delay pedals will do that if you play with the delay rate while the sound is delaying.

I don't think tuning the b up 3 steps is a good idea... I'm pretty sure it would snap. Plus, it would be the same pitch as the high e. I'm pretty sure Paul uses the low E, tunes the D up to an E, and the high e. Just trying to prevent some broken strings here...

well what the kid does it's awsome, traslate the tree pull off notes with the human capo to an arpeggio ( sweep picking) technique cause the sweeps are a continuing patron of 1st( the Tonic) the 3º mayor and the 5th for example , any case 3 notes. but i'm agree with UndissHere, the song was made by Paul and he ' is the genius by make it from a different way, don't think he didn't know how to play it with Sweeps, he just wanted to Make Something Different, He sais it at 4,12 .

Paul's known for pulling strings off of guitars to play things easier/cleaner. He told me once he pulled the top 3 strings off to play the beginning of Green Tinted when I asked him how he got it so clean without vibration or open string noise from the other strings.

No offense whatsoever to that 11 year old kid, but the human capo actually makes it sound a lot better especially live. What that kid does is incredibly difficult, and I believe that Gilbert said he could do it but using just the 3 strings makes it easier and clean.

I saw Anton Oparin play this before i saw gilbert do so . I knew it was a cover (by the comments section) but not what parts were covered..

Its my opion & preferance.

I in no way knocked or am knocking Paul gilbert..

Its just neat to see it played by a 12 year old using a different technique thats likely more dificult .

The kid "deserves the exposure" as well.

This vid is cool i give it 5 stars with every time i view it.. What more do you expect?
