I know that feeling... I had raised mine when he was three days old and found him abandoned under my house. Elvis is now happy and a house cat. He is going to turn 1 year and his little sister that died would have also been a year. Sadly, my cat wants to go outside but I'm afraid of having him get FIV (Cat version of HIV!)

somebody put 3 kittens in front of my house with no mother. i think they are about 1 week old at that time. but only 2 survive.. they are 3-4 weeks old now... and they drink like a devil. cute one.

We raised a two week old kitten. She had to be fed every three hours. She is a runt but is as healthy and spunky as can be. It's very demanding to hand raise them, but it's SO worth it when you see them grow up strong! Thanks for posting!

It can take some time. One of my cats had kittens and we used bottles to ween them off of their mommas milk. Make sure that the hole in the bottle is big enough, and just keep dripping milk into their mouth untill they start sucking. It might take a while, and you may feel bad for putting milk in their mouth, but I found that was the best way to get them to drink out of a bottle. :)

yeah, they do tend to stretch their paws out like that all the time when they drink from the bottle...except mine, which are now three weeks old and slightly underdeveloped for their age because we rescued them and the mother was nowhere in sight so they were left after a week unweaned. Anyways, mine start scratching like crazy for a place to claw and grab on to, and they're nails are getting really long so it hurts when they attempt. Nonetheless, so cute!
