@SirRainis Its Metal Gear Solid Peacewalker for PSP. that monster you just saw is a monster from the game "Monster Hunter". MGS and Monster hunter made a Collaboration so some monsters from Monster Hunter appear in the MGS and in Monster Hunter 3rd for PSP you can choose Snake costume and other stuff related to MGS.

It doesn't surprise me at all that people haven't heard of Metal Gear, because only a few million people have bought the games. Its no general culture at all. There are people who haven't heard of pokemon, despite it being a much bigger franchise, and even not knowing about that is very excusable.

Go around your town/school and ask people if they've heard of MSG. Not many have.

@ZechsMerquise73 Granted. Still, it really does take a fair amount of ignorance to be a gamer of each caliber (be it a Monster Hunter fan, or an RPG fan overall) to never have heard of Metal Gear. The particular person came to this video because of its' relation to Monster Hunter. I really cannot see why that type of gamer has never heard of Metal Gear before.

But maybe that's just the kind of gamer I am used to. Unfortunately, where I live, cult gamers are extremely hard to find.
