Spiderman and Xmen paved the way for the rest of the Marvel universe in the box office. A reboot of Spiderman is plain worthless. Just cause one movie failed they feel the need to reboot it? They can redeem the Spiderman franchise by continuing the story where they left off. Next movie could have the death of Aunt May and the break up with Mary Jane. Get rid of some of the main characters and the story can have a whole new story line of Parker dealing with change. Spiderman the new beginning.

Hope they don't kill her off, as in the comics. As a reboot, the point is to put in new ideas. Therefore, I hope they keep many characters from the comics in the films but not have them follow their comic counterparts in a too linear path.

Either way, Emma Roberts looks like good choice for Gwen (not like in Spidey 3... what were they thinking???), kinda reminds of Gwen in Spectacular Spiderman (hope they give her glasses, gives her character imo). Palmer looks a bit too ordinary

@karl1128 trust me as you can see in my videos I SILENCED AND OWNED ALOT ! The James Vanderbuilt script has been out for a while. It was put into effect when Sam Raimi and Sony were having problems with the script so they re-hired vanderbuilt to do another script with a blue print for a reboot in mind. NO ONE has seen the alvin sargeant script revision which is the updated one. So I dont know whats changed but it looks like things are the same with gwen being love interest and etc..
