@benjamenee136 windows 7 doesn't support it. i made my own .exe file to put a password on my folders but my antivirus said it was "acting suspicious" and deleted all my hard work.

well, u actually zipping it. and if someone has alot of files it would take so much time to zip them. there should be a way to add password in a folder itself without zipping or using rar . in windows 7 bitlocker is there and you can also use folderlock software just google it.

I've installed 7-zip and when I create the new compressed zip folder, it creates a folder with the 7-zip icon. When I double click it, it opens up the 7-zip file manager and I can't add a password. Any help is appreciated great vid too.

Change icon to invisible (right click/properties/customise/cha­nge icon/find invisible one somewere in middle) icon and tipe alt+255 in name (that make blank box, be shure you are using right notepad when you are tiping 255)
