Is Ghostbusters III ever going to happen? I want to see what the first scene with them 4 ghostbusters using their proton packs will be like. Knowing movie's with extra sequels if there can be a Crocodile Dundee III, Rocky Balboa, Rambo 4, Live Free or Die Hard, Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, Scream 4, Tron Legacy, Terminator 3 & 4, and all other extra sequels, I don't see why there can't be a Ghostbusters III, since both Ghostbusters and Ghostbusters II are good movies.

That said, I'm suprised he didn't get charged along with them. There was some sloppy writing here. Although the movie needed to move along, there should have been a scene with Dana telling the three ghostbusters that she's sorry she got them in this mess, with Peter reassuring Dana that they would have done it anyway in a heart beat.

However, the biggest problem is with Winston. He should have been there with his friends/co-workers when the two ghosts showed up. He could have helped Peter with the larger ghost using a proton pack. Sloppy writing.

This was definitely a good scene. Too bad the rest of the movie wasn't as exciting or inspiring. Oh, and Winston always seems to be missing from the Ghostbusters in most cases, even video games. Go figure. I guess....he was never really a Ghostbuster? Only works with them? There were only 3 originally. He was hired later (Ghostbusters 1).

Indeed, for myself I'm glad he did. Though, him not favoring in going on the second time around, you can tell, but it actually helped Bill be more believable in his grumpiness, as you can tell in this scene, especially when he lugs on his proton pack.

As for the Garfield collaboration, I agree, he was discontent in doing that one. ;)

@xIegionx the slime doesn't hold souls, the slime is ectoplasmic residue that is collected together by Ivo Shandor (Ghostbusters videogame 2009), the pink slime managed to find its way into the sewers, meaning Vigo could use it to gain power. As I said, it's ectoplasm, so it's able to bring spirits into our world as well as Animator ghosts, which were never people (slimer, most of the ghosts in GB2). The slime drew power from the judges rage, giving it purpose, letting it release the scolaris

Like when the lady had the fur coat, she stepped in it and those weasel things came alive. The judge was talking about executing the Ghostbusters, so the spirits or poltergeists of the Scoleri Brothers appeared.

@xIegionx I think you may be getting too caught up in the "soul" thing. Slime doesn't hold souls, rather it is just a manifestation of evil (with varying degrees). People are the ones that affect the slime. The lady was wearing a fur coat with dead rat things and they tried to attack her, and Judge Wexler sentenced the Scoleri's to death so they came after him.

@weimtime88 I find that a very hard stretch that slime just summons things from wherever they are. The slime rather seems to animate the dead around them. Not just talking about them.. If you watched, the jar of slime blew up, and from them were the Scholeri's. Meaning they manifested from it, along with the fur coat doing it. I doubt that they just appear if you talk about them with slime nearby, surely if that was the case when ray and egon were yelling at the slime a ghost would've attacked

@xIegionx The jar was overflowing when the judge was yelling at it, when Ray and Egon were doing it they didn't let it get that far. Even Ray confirmed in that same scene that the slime "feeds on bad vibes". So it was greatly affected by the judge in the courtroom scene.
