  • The only Korn albums that are any good are the first 2-3

  • You looked better here.

  • I've heard all there album yes I Liked you review but I disagree with you and I think untouchables, issues were great albums.

  • I really wished they would have stuck with their roots.

Very dark and personal. Im really Really sad that they have lost sight of that. Im really annoyed too. Because i freaking loved them =|

    It really sucks.

  • corn and popcorn xD

  • first 3 albums, great! Issues was "meh" Untouchables was...well...bad, Take a look in the mirror (minus yall want a single) was awesome. everything since then...not even worth the time. theres my opinion

  • hey man can u plz do a review of AVA INFERI

  • I really love Korn, Slipknot and Avenged Sevenfold. Those are really the only new current metal bands I like. I'm a huge thrash kid and classic metal and hate nu metal more than words can describe but those three bands I actually really like

  • Korn Untitled is the album I hate the most, was terrible. the stuff with Skrillex I am hating too, not because of Korn though necessarily.

  • Comment removed

  • Most people here have never heard a metal band outside the popular ones.Korn is terrible and nu metal isnt close to what real metal is,its just like metalcore.people here should listen to real metal plz

  • have you heard the new tracks from korns upcoming album?

  • I also love Korn as well as Slipknot :P Weird, Nu-Metal was the first kind of metal I started to listen to, all the other genres followed afterwards.

  • ... you make me facepalm .... that is all

  • is he trying to be like the angry video game nerd but reviewing shitty music ok that was my idea before you i am have been listening to metallica and all those other good shit for a damn good 4 fucken years and i wanted to review these albums and songs and all that bullshit since i was 8 and now i am 16 and now i want this shitty factory too begin reviewing st. anger, load and reload albums and then review something that music just became the shit cake for its mother nature.

  • I own all of korns albums except for Untouchables and Issues. I must say, I thoroughly enjoy all of them.

  • I greatly enjoy your channel and I'm subscribed. I think that a good majority of your opinions are sympathetic with mine. (We have the same favorite Opeth album) So please explain to me why you hate Slipknot's first album which has much better writing and much more fun and creativity to be had, and yet you think that the first Korn album is enjoyable. I can't honestly see why. Oh, and don't let the name fool you, I fucking hate KISS.

  • well i can say i have listned to almost all of the korn albulms i still follow them first three were the best, like you said. The whole corn to korn comparision was harsh but true. Sadly i will always like them no matter how crappy they get.

  • korn sucks nice countdown to extinction shirt

  • does mom know you're smoking in the basement?

  • I respect your opinions, but man, you cannot deny the fact that Korn's first two albums are just pure masterpieces of its genre. After the first 2 records, the rest is shit. A lot of so called "metalheads" don't like Korn because it was not "heavy/metal" enough. There were very few heavy bands at the time between 94-96 that were original as Korn was. Korn's first 2 records didn't dissappoint when it comes down to originality, creativity, and the sound of the band was unique

  • @D0wn82

I guess that when I listen to music, I look for originality. True fact: Korn's first two records will definitely blow away any Metallica, Megadeth, and Iron Maiden records of the 90s and 2000s. And this is coming from someone who loves listenning to Faith No More, Mr. Bungle, Primus, Tool, The Melvins, Kyuss, Helmet, Quicksand, Godflesh, Grotus.....So, am I still a nerd?

  • @D0wn82 You can't deny that Maiden, Metallica, and Megadeth are legendary though. I actually enjoyed the first two Korn albums as well.

  • @perrottafamily1

I'm not denying the fact that Maiden, Metallica, and Megadeth are legendary. My point is that in the 90's Korn did something innovative while Maiden, Metallica, and Megadeth sucked ass during those years. Don't get me wrong, I love Metallica, and Megadeth of the 80's, but after that, they went downhill. As far as Iron Maiden goes, I don't like them. However, I can't deny the fact that they were an amazing band in the 70's and 80's. After the 80s, they went downhill too.

  • @D0wn82 Maiden's new album was pretty good in my opinion.

  • Untouchables was a pretty good record.

    After that the rest blew.

  • Korns first 2 albums are decent

  • I don't necessarily think there is a bad Korn album. There's great songs sprinkled here & there throughout the later stuff. But I do agree that the 90s were Korn at their best.

  • The very first album is my favorite. From there on pure disappointment.

  • I love Korn..all of their albums..their new shit is worse than their old shit, but it'snot bad. I still like it. Your opinion really irritates me, but I don't care, it's your opinion and I can't change that. You should listen to their new album released in 2010, Remember who You are.

  • You look like Bill Hicks lighting a cigarette.

  • i started listening to korn few years ago and the first thing ive done was looked it up nd i tried it since the beginning of them (s/t ect) and i effin loved them

  • agreed with you 100

  • I actually like Korn, but I respect your opinion.

  • Korn´s old material was good

  • 11:42 to 11:49 LMAOOOO i want that as my fucking ring tone XDDD!!!

  • dude your metaphors are weird. lol

  • this was one of the reviews i have seen. very creative and professional (all but for the language, but who's counting?)

  • I guess I should add, before you accuse me for being one of these 2000s era 'new school' metalheads, that I got into Korn when I was 10.. when Follow The Leader came out and I loved it... I went and got their previous 2 albums and loved them too.

  • @FolkMetalManiac dude, this review is just like all of my others. its an opinion. if you love and enjoy the band, that's cool and fine. you do what you like. :)

  • @coverkillernation except slipknot right? lol..

  • Who are you to say that a band should stay the same throughout their career? I also feel like your not just giving your opinion, your telling people what they should think. Do you not realize that not everyones going to think the same way as you? You probably think that Im fucked up for enjoying the entire Korn discography, for getting an ever lasting tattoo on my arm commemorating them for introducing me to metal. You call me an idiot just because Ive got a different opinion than you? Fucked up.

  • you remind me of bill hicks dude. i love you

  • dude! youre a psycho!!!

  • only intolerable cd for me is the 2nd untitled

  • Korn is so much better than slipknot or any other nu-metal. its very unique, very dark, twisted and ambient. Jonathan davis is extremely emotional, and the songs all bring up very grave subjects and happenings.

Korn is the only nu-metal band that i like. and the rest of the music i listen to is extreme meta, classical, jazz, avant-garde, experimental etc.

PS. 2003-2010' albums are pretty useless and uninteresting.

  • people are so unfair to korn, so unfair! and the main reason is because they were on mtv competing against backstreet boys and britney spears, korn was a cult band before that you had to stay up till 2am and watch there videos on mtv 2, sure untouchables was a little stale, and there new stuff isnt as powerful, you cant take away the fact that there legends though!love em or hate em!

  • I didnt even watch this video yet... but i know one thing for cetain! Korn is fucking horrible.

  • Comment removed

  • you are the fucking man! haha you remind me of how steve albini is on his shellac albums its great! i gave up on korn sometime aroud between issues and their 5th album which is when i gave up on alot of metal actually, issues just got stale really quickly and your analogy with the corn is very apt .

  • i'm going to have to agree with you on this. Mostly.

  • kind of sucked*

  • i have to admit after issues the rest kind of but i enjoy a few songs... i dont take music that seriously, ill enjoy most of music, exept for pop music id say. overall good review but you guys take music way too seriously.

  • @SaucisseMerguez exactly

  • Ha ha got life is peachy tattooed on my chest lol love old korn and the first album fuck all the young kids with there scene and so called hardcore music ha ha wow just becuz u scream all the time does not make your songs good fags lol but I hella agree with u about korn but you should try out the new album its pretty cool it is like between life and follow =D

  • Ha ha got life is peachy tattooed on my chest lol love old korn and the first album fuck all the young kids with there scene and so called hardcore music ha ha wow just becuz u scream all the time does not make your songs good fags lol but I hella agree with u about korn

  • ok that metaphor really SUCKED !!!!! lol hahahaha

  • Dude your 100% right, ever since follow the leader the band just went down the shit hole!!

  • Coming Undone=worst Korn song ever

  • @lhitch1 no, no, no...Twisted Transistor Is easily there worst song ever they havent played it live in years cause its awful, worst korn song ever!

  • @gummoboy333 ... Ok I rephrase... top 2 worst songs ever

  • cool metaphors. Although my tastes have drastically changed, I still dig Korn, Issues is my favorite.

  • im a korn fan, and I agree theyve fallen at times but true fans stick by there side because they know what korn is "capable" of, and I love the album issues

  • Im pretty much against anything related to nu metal so I pretty much hated Korn even though years ago Korn was one of first bands i listened to mostly their 00 era before I got into metal. But watching this video i probably will listen their first albums so I think different of them even though I know their recent stuff is garbage now.

  • I enjoyed this video.

  • Nice shirt Mark lol. In response to your comments about the current state of Korn, I have to say that I actually enjoyed their work in the 2000s as it seemed to contain more cinematic elements that Korn and Life is Peachy. (Yes, I do own those two albums). I like them, and would definitely listen to them on a dark night, but I just prefer their latter work. That's not to say I don't love their ninties work. I love Follow the Leader and Issues :)

  • Sepultura

  • Excellent review. XD

And, as far as Korn III goes, i haven't heard the WHOLE THING, but i assume the single you were referring to was Oildale? In which case, trust me, it is one of the worst songs off that album. (Not THE worst, though) If you want to hear the best, just go look up or download Are You Ready To Live. That's really all you need to hear from that album.

  • korn are angry music nerds

  • awesome video as always

ive always liked Korn, but in the 00s they went downhill and were pretty near to being bad, still their latest album was amazing in my opinion

you should definitly listne to the album, in my opinion they are back to the quality they had in the 90s

  • Issues and Untouchables are their best albums

  • IMO from what I can remember from when I was into Korn:

Korn - Their 2nd heaviest album.

Life Is Peachy - Their most inconsistent album.

Follow The Leader - A heavier / better LIP.

Issues - Korn experiments with melody.

Untouchables - Their most melodic and atmospheric album.

Take A Look In The Mirror - Their heaviest album.

See You On The Other Side - Korn experiments with industrial rock.

Korn 2 - Their most experimental album ever.

Korn 3 - Have not heard it.

  • @Thrasher9996 exactly

  • haha aahhh i miss your videos

  • "Yes I am a pirate. Arg." "HEY! THE FUCK IS THIS?!" God you say the greatest shit.

  • im a korn fan but last 3 albums were garbage. i try to listen to the new album just garbage

  • I do like fresh corn

  • I like old Korn, I like Take A Look In The Mirror, that had some cool songs on it, but the rest, I'd agree with you, not so good. The first self-titled was awesome, blew my mind. Now CK, I COMMAND YOU TO REVIEW ICP!!!!

  • LOL. Your rants are so funny. Looking back Korn was one of the better bands from the scene. I honestly can't believe I ever liked Linkin Park and Limp Bizkit.
