@iF3nd3r Jazz bass sounds good too & been out there for decades. SR have thin neck. Way thin that's why it's fast. Both are good, but it depends on your feel. Different sounds but both are good. I used Jazz bass before but i have the SR1200 NT. BTW, SR have active pickups & requires battery.
I bought one for 3 months ago,it even kick more ass then a warwick thumb bass.
They are very hard to get at this time.I was very lucky to get one new.It was the very last SR900 they had in Norway. This bass is definnetly worth 3 times more then the stock prize.A more easy played well sounded bass with neckthrough is very very hard to find with such a low prize like this nowadays. Its truely a high end bass that easy compete with other highend basses out there, which costs 2000-3000 bucks.
I've had and SR900 for a few years- LOVE it!! Just switched to flats and love it even more. It's even faster than before. Ibanez discontinued the model, but I think it's out under a different name. Well worth the money.
I saw this model of bass at my music store before but I'm not much of a bass player but it sounds great I'd buy it, to bad my brother is extremely ignorant and hates Ibanez.
I also have the same bass. Same color, too. The tone it gets is amazing , and through a Peavey Mark VI amp it can sound pretty darn close to a Geddy Lee Wal bass. Definitely the best bass Ibanez makes, in my opinion.
stupid question i know....is it better than sr 500???
and one more does sr 300, 500, 600, 700, 900 differ besides the wood?
