I think 99.99% of the reason people don't believe in God or religion is because of the things they've seen or heard from people, and a lot of religious people misinterpret God and all those things. I believe in God, and I think he's a reasonable, cool guy.

@seroloko U obviously have a gross misunderstanding of the difference between 'scientific theory' and 'theory' as used in everyday parlance. FYI, evolution is now largely accepted in the scientific community as fact, backed up by fossil evidence, etc. Saying it requires 'just as much faith' as believing in god is also terribly misguided because different unknowns have different likelihoods of being true and the evidence shows that the chance of there being a god is slim to none.

And when he began his observation of life and nature on the earth and began to develop the theory of evolution, he struggled with the idea as it conflicted with his beliefs. But he albeit reluctantly allowed the FACTS to WIN and by the latter end of his life he described himself as agnostic.

Natural selection deems that the creatures/species which are best suited for survival, do survive... and such creatures/species are in the overwhelming minority. What this means is that it is an enormous process of trial and error, which most organisms don't live through.
