  • If Vegans go on with their agressive missionaric attitude, they better watch out, that they do not end as Soylent Green.

  • I would to lay around the house with her an do nothing but pet each other.

  • @wvoutlaw2009, society can only hope that you are practicing ABC -- on yourself.

  • @MadameRuusu No she wears real fur and her burlesque fans are made of real ostrich feathers.

  • never heard of her...

But yes, Spay and Neuter. Too many cats, kittens, dogs and puppies are put to death each year. It's something ridiculous like 11 thousand a day in the US alone! :(

Plus it makes them heather and happier...how? They don't get cancer of the reproductive organs because there aren't any and they are no longer driven by the natural hormonal urge to mate all the time! They can just be themselves.

Some humans could use this too!!!

  • Whats with the camera zooming in on her boobs and ass all the time?!.... lmao

  • @Angora307 im so not complaining. It's dita....

  • @waratahNSW, your only beef with PETA is that they have exposed you for the lamb mutilator that you are. Australian merino wool-growers are ruthless greedy men who butcher lambs for their fleece. And when that animal no longer produces the quality wool off of which you have made your despicable living, you ship him off on a month-long journey to the Middle East where he will be gruesomely slaughtered.

Australian live export of sheep is shameful. Shame on Australia!

  • @CDLver The Peta parrot.

    Read this:

Elders Rural Services, Weekly Wool Report

    14th January 2011

The first wool sale of the year started like an unstoppable freight train, recording the biggest weekly rise since late September 2002. The EMI finished the week up 121 cents at 1152 c/kg , its highest point since Feb 2003. The story was quite simple-the finer the micron the larger the rises

New upto date news About AUssie WOOL.

ALL you can do CD the parrot is repeat the Peta bullshit spin!!

  • The price of apples has gone up, too. Does that mean that more people are buying apple juice? No.

Talbots has 1,049 shops in 3 countries, and $US1.7 billion ($A2.21 billion) in yearly revenue. H&M has 1,200 shops in 21 countries and $US7.6 billion ($A9.89 billion) in revenue. Nordstrom has 151 U.S. shops and $US7.1 billion ($A9.24 billion) in revenue. All have joined PETA's boycott of Australian Merino wool from sheep who have been mulesed.

    You lose.

  • @CDLver : Peta Parrot

How dam pathetic you are CD trying to deflect the FACT that there is a BIG surge in DEMAND for Aussie wool. Both mulesed and Non mulesed.

I myself am selling wool this week, we shall see just how I am affected by the great Peta wool boycott.

  • Proof that retailers want nothing to do with Australia's hideoulsy cruel merino wool business: Europe's largest buyer of Australian wool, G. Modiano, said: "quibbling over meeting the deadline is no longer relevant as the market reality is much more dire. "Forget 2010 - the 2010 agreement is now dead in the water." "In the last 10 days, there have been more and more customers jumping on the bandwagon demanding to know where their wool has come from, and this has never been the case before."

  • Citing the selling price of a bale of wool does little to discredit the effectiveness of PETA's boycott of Australian merino wool growers who carve flesh from baby lambs with scissors, cut off their tails with butcher knives, and punch holes in their ears without pain medication because it cuts into your profit.

The irrefutable fact: you won't be selling any of your cruelty to 60 foreign (European, British, American, Swedish) retailers, who've joined the boycott. That's a whole lot of wool!

  • @CDLver The Peta Parrot,

O dear CD is there NO limit to you ignorance!!

    1. The Price for Aussie wool is A DIRECT reflection on the DEMAND for our wool.

Are you ready for this CDLever.

The price for our fine wool has almost DOUBLED yes DOUBLED in the last 4 Months.

I am selling our wool tomorrow,

WE will see just how much Peta’s Boycott is hurting ME???

SO stay tuned Parrot boy and we will see how we go

  • You lose when you cannot sell your cruelty to retailers who have joined PETA's boycott of Australian merino museled wool: Adolfo Dominquez, Benetton, Ann Taylor, Gap, Nordstrom, H&M, Eddie Bauer, Jones Apparel, Lands' End, L.L. Bean, Liz Claiborne, Next, John Lewis, Abercrombie&Fitch, Timberland, American Eagle, Hugo Boss, Perry Ellis, Coldwater Creek, Haggar, Nike, Adidas, Marks&Spencer, Lindex, Austin Reed, Limited, Marc Bouwer, and 60 clothiers of the British Retail Consortium .

  • @CDLver You lose when you cannot sell your cruelty to retailers who have joined PETA's boycott ??

    TRuth CDLever,

Manyof the retailers you have listed here like Abercrombie&Fitch and Timberland DONT sell any wool garments, and never did sell wool .

So who cares if they boycott wool they never sold it anyway.

Also Retailers like L.L Bean sell boots made from lamb Skin,

Dressing in animal skins!! isn’t that a Peta NO-NO??

A good example of Peta Propaganda, with Peta lies and deception.

  • Wrong, sheep mutilator. Have a look at Abercrombie and Timberland's online stores and see that they both do, in fact, sell merino wool products, they just don't sell merino wool from Australia wool-growers who butcher baby lambs for their fleece, punch holes in their little ears, or cut their tails off with pliers.

It is no wonder that so many retailers have joined PETA's boycott of Australia's cruel merino wool. Shame on Australian wool growers who mutilate baby lambs!

  • @CDLver YES! WOOHOOOOOO! Or wait... Do you mean that they don't sell it to Sweden? Because damn i got worried, I bought like 6 different items with whool in them by mistake and it really worried me that it might come from the worst of the worst...

  • @11moii, The fine people of Sweden are boycotting Australia's merino wool. Since 2008, a fury of protests against Australia's sheep cruelty were held after Sweden showed images of baby lambs being carved with knives. Sweden and Norway's agriculture ministers publicly condemned mulesing, and H&M, a Swedish retailer, announced it would no longer source wool from Australia. 17 other Swedish retailers joined the boycott.

Thank you, Sweden, for not buying Australia's cruel wool!

  • @ComaLies225 You say that as if she had no choice! Obviously Dita didn't do her homework and neither did PETA.

  • This clip is about animal birth control, not saving the fur of animals..Its not contradictory at all, you simply seem to misunderstand the meaning of the video:P

  • 7 or 8 kittens, a normal litter has 2-4

  • does she REALLY use fur?? She CANNOT talk in favor of the animals, then. Completely contradictory.

  • this is a fuckin joke

  • @HessenDragoon You're deffinetly not an asshole...

  • It's not contradictive at all, because she's not advertising anti-fur or Anti-animal fashion. She's advertising a birth control pill for animals so that they don't have babies that the owner isn't able to care for... You guys aren't very observant...

  • @mentalitymentalist You are obviously retarded, anyone who uses fur should not be in a PETA ad.

  • @xxdiogenescynicxx Actually I think my comment was pretty smart compared to the rest. So I'd have to disagree with your statement about me being retarded. Anyone's allowed to be in a PETA ad. And just so you know, the more people advertising PETA, the better. You don't seem to think so, but cool.

  • @mentalitymentalist Yeah why don't we start having cattle ranchers do PETA ads too? DUH

  • I think the criticism of PETA isn't entirely fair, but not completely wrong.

Here's the thing: they have a choice. They can go all the way - insist on nothing but 100% implementation of full animal rights, and work for this end only. If they do this, they will lose the vast majority of their supporters, and finances.

The other choice is to pander to the public, and do the most good they can without alienating their support base. This is what they do.

  • @kimberlily1983 It's debatable which approach is best. We currently have people on both of these sides, though no organization rivaling PETA in size on the first side. I'm not saying you can't criticize PETA; but it does irritate me that most of the people who criticize them are not recognizing that they're trying to make the best of a bad situation. Politics is always about compromise.

  • If you can't find a home for the kittens just through them in a bucket of water, they'll drown.

  • @HessenDragoon you're sick.

  • @xxxcutehunnixxx Well then, how do you kill kittens?

  • @HessenDragoon Um...You should have neutered your cat in the first place, dickhead. Or just don;t get a cat. And if you cat already has kittens i am sure there are many ways to get rid of them...without killing them. I know loads of people who would love a cat, but there are also rescuse homes. So stop being a disgusting twat.

  • @xxxcutehunnixxx I don't have a cat, I just kill the strays around the neighborhood. There's dozens of them here and theyre always sneaking into my basement and having kittens.

  • @HessenDragoon Aren't you cool

  • @HessenDragoon yep no point in calling animal control or taking them to the pound MANNY GET YOUR GUN fuck you!

  • It is only nature for animals to kill each other, Some people like "dita" consider there cats to be lovely and caring but really they are hunter which kill animals bellow likewise humans are naturally ment to kill animals bellow them.

  • She wears fur all the time wtf is she doing with PETA?

  • wear fur, stop being idiots you use shit that posions the world but fucking cry when an overpopulated renewable resource gets harvested for a purpose

  • i'll skin u alive and wear you as a coat.

  • your misinformed, you listen to the lies of peta, no animals are skinned alive, 90% of traps used today kill them quickly and humanely, rabies rates are out the roof since this organization started their anti fur bullshit, support the humane society, Ingrid is an old nasty people hating bitch, whats a matter with europe, so out of touch with the old ways, shit Appalachia is probably more european than europe

  • I beg to differ...

have you watched the videos of the Chinese fur trade? where most fur sold in Europe comes from, china has no animal protection laws and animals have there heads smashed till dead. also even if killed "humanly" if i was to kill a human even "humanly" people would still see it as murder and cruel why should lovely animals such as rabbits give there lives because someone wants a coat even though there are cheaper synthetic alternatives available.

  • asians have no souls

  • LOL random

  • according to south park

  • I live in the middle of the country side and I rarely see rabbits in the wild so fail to see how they are overpopulated. The human race is over populated lets start killing off people to sort it out. personally i see no reason why ANY animal should die for humans, we are a selfish stupid race who has almost destroyed the earth and its inhabitants where as no animal as ever produced a carbon emission or wiped out a species.

  • WHERE i live deer are overpopulated and wiped out the undergrowth that provides habitat for other animals, you rarely see a tree under 15-20 feet tall, coons and possums are way over populated and thats why you rarely see any songbirds or turkeys, it is up to the hunter and trapper to help control the balance, the coyote can not do it alone

  • do you honestly like slipknot more than gwar?

  • well if its over popultaed then people have fucked around with the natural balance of the wildlife where ever u are, humans have cuased a problem and think that by curly killing animnalks it will make things better?

  • yea deer meat is lean healthy and good, animals do cause crop damage you know, especially rodents

  • @WVliberty meh if thats what you think personaly i dont care if its good for me i dont feel i have teh right to take any animalks life or have an animals life cuz im hungry.....i like some punk ramones, still little fingers and the unseen but more of a metal person (y)

  • @blackstonecherry1993 what about seafood or fish?

  • dont eat fish or shellfishe ether smal reasoning applys

  • dam, well i live in the poorest region of the US so you have to understand where im comin from

  • @WVliberty fair enough altho fake fur and leather is cheaper than real.

  • i,m not into leather shit, i like leather in cars but i hate leather couches, id only wear a fur coat if id made or trapped them myselves, but thats doubtful but could happen if my country is goin to collapse our economy blows right now, i d like to have a coyote hat to wear to DC to freak those snubby asses out down there

  • personaly dont think ether are great bands imo. more of a soilwork person.

  • im more of a punk and rockabilly person, gg allen, david brockie experience, choking victim, hasil adkins, etc.....

  • Just totally dumb.

She wears fur in some of her shows and despite of that PETA engaged her for the ad.

Similar to Kat von D's ad for PETA. She wears a lot of leather and makes ad against fur. wtf?! PETA has no more authenticity I think. That's very sad.

  • Does anyone notice that what she's saying is so irrelavent to the what's going on in the video...

I mean she's gorgeous, but it would make more sense if she was doing a photo shoot with her pets...

  • wow PETA IS INTO SOFT PORN!!!!! can't wait to see their XXX videos.

  • shut your face!

  • They could have used a more PETA-like person...

  • @WithLoveAliceCullen they should have used Davey!

  • The shot at 1:39 is BREATHTAKING!

Having said that...PETA are hypocrites. They knew full well when they signed her thta she wears fur on a VERY regular basis and loves eating foie gras -at the same time, they can throw paint at other celebrities that wear fur and they put Marilyn Manson -who was married to her- on their "worst dressed" list because he wears leather. It's ridiculous. It's for a fantastic cause but they have lost all credibility.

  • hott for teacher.....lol

  • yeah, i love dita too, but peta should have looked into her cuz like, she's into taxidermy, and wears ostrich feathers etc..

    xx

  • ostriches don't die to get their feathers.......so theres nothign wrong with wearing feathers.

  • They don't die, but they aren't treated humanly. Having feathers yanked out is cruel! They don't just pick up old feathers off the ground. You people should look up how animals sold for things like fur, meat, dairy, feathers, and leather are treated. That's why we have PETA.

  • It may have escaped your notice, what with disney and all,but ostriches are not human.

  • And? They still feel pain. Humans are the very beings that destroy the earth.

  • @johnthekeane wow it sucks that there are people that think like you, and i know you posted this a long time ago, but i can't help but feel sorry towards your ignorance.

  • I think you probably mean sorry FOR my ignorance...As I can no longer find my comment I can't really reply. I guess it had something to do with the stupidity of anthromorphisation and the irresponsiblity of pet owners. I stand by my views.

  • LOLz, my dog is outside getting barked out by some stupid poodle. My dog is a German Shepard and could like rip its head off, but my dog is just standing there going, I don't want to get sued. It's SO funny.

  • i adore dita von teese but i agree with people who are saying that the ad is contradictive. dita uses ostrich feathers and wears fur. no surprise that PETA didn't investigate on that one.

  • Actually PETA were well aware of her stance adn ONLY got her to appear in the advert for the reason of bringing attentiion to neutering your pets.

I did an interview with her over a year and a half ago on the birmingham Mail about this.

  • @iheartirony really? oh----- ?¿!!!

  • @iheartirony She wears fake things. Never real fur or feathers

  • @MadameRuusu Oh no she wears a grip of fur, and feathers.....

  • @iheartirony Better something than nothing, eh? No one is perfect.

  • gosh i adore her really

  • Do you think PETA would approve of Dita's leather outfits?

  • How do you make the dogs wear condoms?

  • Wait- I thought PETA was going for "total animal liberation"... meaning they're against even pets. Why run this ad (with a woman who wears fur clothing, no less)? Don't understand

  • Animals kill each other, eating meat is a natural progression up the trophic levels. If we're going to kill them anyway, might as well get some additional uses, right?

    FUR

Besides, everyone wants to be an environmentalist b/c their idea of nature is the fairy tale wonderland Hollywood pushes on us; but no one actually realizes nature is both harsh and violent in reality.

  • agreed

  • I had question. Does peta like carnivorous animals? On one hand, they are animals, but on the other, they at animals.

  • PETA don't like anything. They exist to irritate people with common sense.

  • Go and see how animals are killed before arriving in your plate!

you'll be less arrogant after that.

A lion will kill to live. We don't need meat in our diet.

    it's Wrong/ Bad/ crap for your health!

(and Ive never seen a lion overweight)

The way animals are treated before dying is horrible too. Even the most stupid animals won't be able to do that. It's just disgusting,

Go veggie and Feel the difference in your Life, your Energy Levels, your Sex life !!

  • Meat is bad for your health.

    Yet we incisors.

    /facepalm

  • Bad for your health? Friend of mine is suffering from malnurishment from being vegetarian.

Not all commercial animals are poorly treated. And out livestock is so domesticised now that they would never survive in the wild, so if we stop farming them then their suffering will be far worse, I assure you.

  • i'll be sure to have "the talk" with my dog.

  • i love dita but i dont get this she wears fur even in her book she says how she loves to wear it but she does this ad wtf

  • If you happen to be Vegetarian or not, I think the thing to take from the whole PETA- Animal Rights thing is do what you can to protect the animals and the Earth. Because all you can do is your best. No one's perfect. Just be informed, smart, and ask questions.

  • i love dita von teese shes a amazing woman and very classy

  • I LOVE this woman's style!

  • et tu dita? people come first above animals...it is good to respect animals...but to do a peta ad.....is crazy...peta is a group of a bunch of nuts that want to film naked women to support there cause .....killing animals and people in the name of protecting animals ...fact pita gave money to people who had fire bombed buildings....fact...peta actually ends up killing most of the animals they claim to "save"...fact...these hollywood celebs don't really know what they are backing up...

  • but she wears fur.

  • she wasn't trying to strip for any certain reason

peta makes a lot of these videos so that they can capture the lifestyle of the person and show that no matter how different people are, they can have the same views on things

  • Yeah she may wear fur, but she still cares for animals. Just like not many of us watching this would dilibrately hurt an animal... yet we still eat burgers and chicken nuggets from establishment that get their meat from inhumane slaughterhouses.

Whatever someone chooses for a lifestyle, they need to know that in some way they WILL hurt animals. From wearing furs, to having a vegitarian diet that takes away animals homes for the demolition of natural habitat to cover the demand for soy products.

  • i used to be a vegetarian, but i have two auto-immune diseases. so basically, the supplements aren't enough for me to be healthy and be able to fight off infection.

BUT, even when i wasn't, i did not wear fur.

i didn't eat products from brands that could not humanely kill the animals.

  • You are doing what you can, which is all we can do in this dependant society. But like you I make sure I get my protiens from humanely killed animals. On my homestead I raise the animals free range and grow my own food. I applaud your efforts.

  • you can just buy pills with vitamine B12 in it ( the thing you miss being a vegetarian) but B12 is also in vegetarian-meat so u can also just eat that. If they sell it in your country.

  • They do, but like I said...

    I have two auto-immune diseases.

I'm pretty educated on being a vegetarian.

It's just, the supplements are enough for my body.

Taking pills aren't the same as actually eating it.

  • what a tart with a heart, i mean yeah, i agree with her veiws on animals, but did she realy feel that wasnt enough, and strip too make it more..whatever

  • oh she's sooo lovely. I'd like to have her as my pet. I wouldn't be giving her away either...

  • You know gross comments like that make you seem like an idiot and devalues her.

  • She is so classically beautiful!

  • isnt she dating marilyn manson?

  • no. shes marilyn manson's ex-wife

  • Dita is an inspiration. A true beauty. I completely agree with what she has to say about animals.

  • including skinning and wearing them???

  • Ok, so try telling a family pet that it's 'liberated' and should head for the city to make its own way in the world. Try telling the vast number of farm animals that they are 'free' and see what response you get. Will their be cheering and hats thrown into the air? PETA love that they have a high enough profile to hire Dita, despite the inherent contradictions in their own dogma and are calculating enough to know the publicity value of Ms. von Teese. I just love Dita, whatever she's wearing.

  • I love my cats.I have one walking on my damned keyboard as I write this. And I support Peta in its campaign to have people sterilize their pets. And Ive supported their campaign against dog fighting. But why does every movement try to legislate every aspect of their morality on the general public.Sorry,I like leather.I love hamburgers.I wont spend 2 grand at the vet on a 15 year old cat who might last another year.I wont be a veagan. If I want a carrot,I wanna cook the damned thing.

  • It's called deer season people.

  • isnt PETA against having pets?

  • PETA has neve stated their against people having companion animals. Penn and Teller just twisted Ingrids words making it seem that animal liberation means not having pets.

  • Why Are So Many People Getting So Edgy Over This?

Yeh, She Wears Fur, Leather, Etc, But To Totally Honest... MOST People Do.. More Than Likely, If You Look In Your Closet, You'd Have A Few Pairs Of Leather Shoes

They Hired Her JUST For The ABC Campaign. They Know She Wears Fur & Stuff, They Weren't On Her About That... There Is A Whole Interview With Her About That.

  • I don't quite understand didn't peta's founder Ingrid Newkirk say peta is for complete animal liberation, now they make a commercial premoting responsible pet ownership? Arent they contradicting themselves?

  • PETA has neve stated their against people having companion animals. Penn and Teller just twisted Ingrids words making it seem that animal liberation means not having pets.

  • I mean can you imagine peta employing Jennifer lopez for one of their ads? lol I dont think so.

  • yeah I agree.

  • I love leather and fur and beef! Peta is really crazy but again this is america and they can dress there little pups up in chanel sweaters if they want too!

  • but... PETA are against the enslavement of "pets".. So.. why?

    *head explodes*

  • hahahaha. no

  • I think Dita IS a vegetarian actually. If she does wear fur then she shouldn't really do a PETA ad, no, even if this one is about nutering your pets. But I heard she only wears fake fur, actually?

  • she wears real fur

  • In that case it's an incredibly big act of hypocrisry on PETAS part. They can attack celebrities for wearing fur but then they sign someone who wears it to do a campaign for them? Slightly contradictive.

  • Yes she only wears fake fur.

  • She's not standing up for being vegetarian, she's talking about spaying/neutering your animals... you don't have to be a vegetarian to do that, now do you? If so, then I made a mistake because my dog's spayed and I'm not a vegetarian. lol.

  • Ela só foi no PETA pra fazer isso, não é vegetariana e continua usando peles de animais =/

  • I also hope that anyone that is so concerned with Dita being a "hypocrite" is vegan...otherwise wouldn't that be hypocritical?

  • *kudos*

  • Also, Dita only uses vintage fur; she doesn't have animals killed specifically for her, like JLo the Fur Ho and others do.

Dita also is a huge supporter and consumer of MAc cosmetics. She uses cruelty free cosmetics.

  • she uses MAC because she egts paid to be their celebrity face.

  • ANY support for ANY sort of animal rights is good support, so whether Dita wears animal products is irrelevent here; the point of this shoot was to inform people about spaying and neutering.

I think that it's amazing that PETA doesn't discriminate against people for their campaigns, that every spokesperson doesn't need to be 100% vegan, or even vegetarian. Any sort of support for people not mindlesly hurting and killing animals is honorable.

  • First off, I'm a huge fan of Dita Von Teese. PETA knew that She wears Leather, Wool, and Fur. They even said they were o.k. with that because they knew that's what makes Dita Dita. They only wanted her for their spey and neuder campaign. To the one named, "Foulestwitch", I'm a supporter of Animal Rights, but I condemn the actions of the ALF. It's one thing to protest animal cruelty. It's another to scare people, hurt them, and distroy buildings or property to get others to think the way you do.

  • Stop rambling.

  • Beautiful.

  • I'd volunteer to be Dita's floormat.

  • Shes a hypocritacle whore who has always publicly glamourized furs, leather, silk, feathers, whale-bone corsets for fashion, decorates her home with taxidermy, and even loves gelatin stage lights! I am outraged that PETA would use her for a campaign! What a shame!

  • She really HAS 5 pets : two dogs and 3 cats... Thsi compaign is NOT against fur or whatever it's for STERELIZING domestic animals, so that they don't have to kill the puppies or kitties, so calm down... It has nothing to do with it. Maybe you'd be interested to know that taxidermy was her EX husband's fancy (Manson) and not hers.

  • Also, I own leather and I don't give a shit.

  • shes beatiful, but i dont agree with her being a PETA spokesperson.i know this is for sterelizing animals but PETA is a whole for ANIMAL CRUELTY.she wears and uses animal products and i doubt she is vegetarian.PETA just uses her because shes pretty, but atleast PAMELA ANDERSON is vegetarian and deosnt use animal products.now shes what i call a PETA spokesperson.

  • It is sort of a shame. Because I love her work but I hate the animal rugs she sits upon..

But Peta will use any celebrity for their campaign.

  • she is an angel

    totaly agree with her

thank you for the good quality
