I have a serious question. I really want to go to Tokyo, but i don't speak a bit of Japanese, would I have to speak Japanese to know what's going on and to have a good time? Also, are there plenty of English speakers there? Thanks
I managed. Every sign is basically in English, they announce the train things in English, stops etc.
Hell, if you want to order something, take a notebook and look at the window which shows the food. Then write down the associated Hiragana, Kanji, and katakana.
But it's better if you learn Japanese first. So you can get the full experience. I'm learning.
@nightshade877 I am aware that you posted that over a year ago, But if you are still serious about Tokyo I would recommend that you do a YouTube search for an awesome guy by the name of Tokyocooney. His YouTube channel is one of the most informative channels about Tokyo ever!
It has that futuristic feel to it, that is why i want to live there.
