I wish people would just get over the fact that Archuleta lost. It's over and done with. Both Cook and Archuleta are fantastic singers, and are both doing amazingly well with their careers.

duh... he already won! he didnt win for nothing! he has all the potential of being a star. he wouldnt have that million votes if he doesnt connect to the audience!! thats the one reason why became the american idol! or maybe next time why dont you try to be the judge huh?! if you can..
I think their vocal skills are about equal (listen to studio version of Music of the Night), but DC sings TO the audience & with passion and DA just sings (well). DA needs to get out from under the thumb of his parents and do some living, loving and losing -- THEN he will be hot. When I compare DA to other stars his age, say Jessie McCartney & the High School Musical kids, he sings better than them, but he just doesn't have any comfort/relationship with the audience whatsoever. Some day...
i love him so much that i hope he DOESN'T win. that way he will be successful for sure. unless he is a genius like clarkson and gets a buttload of lawyers.
David Cook is my favorite contestant!I believe that he is the best among others!!! I LOVE HIS VERSION OF ALWAYS BE MY BABY by Mariah! I got goosebumps!after hearing that song! :-)
