The NHSAA clearly states any hard surfaces surrounding the mats i.e. pavement, need to have protective mats covering it to prevent these things from happening, the starter or school should be held accountable for that one. this sport already has an element of risk, when the safety precautions are ignored by starters and coaches that do not know what they r doing in when accidents like this happen!!
