very helpful. Thanks. Crazy though that you can't see the effect til you produce it. Windows movie maker is so much better at all this, especially with plugins.

As for audio, I just split, select and add silence.

@riteasrain right. Camtasia studio is not made at all to do effects like WMM or Sony Vegas or another editor. Its just an editor to add some text, and cut out mess ups.

@MegaGeekTutorials Yes I've heard that said. It's a great program but just doesn't cut it (pardon the pun) in some areas. At least in WMM you can move clips to overlay them. No such luck in CS unless you tweak PiP, but it would be so easy to just add some of these perks.

@DragonicGod you have to speed the audio up with another program. I would recommend speeding the video and audio up in a program like Windows Movie Maker or iMovie. This video is made if you want to make a time lapse and put music in the background of the speed up video.

I'm pretty sure you can't speed up audio in WMM, as I've used it for my first ~20 videos.

I'm also pretty sure iMovie is macs only. Soo yeah.
