my goodness. I did felt like crap after seeing this movie. I was the one who was supposed to hang on that cross. What Jesus did was incredibly heroic. Thank you so much Jesus!!
I've seen this movie so many times, Jim did what he said he wanted most: his portrayal was so outstanding that I believe everytime he is Christ. I feel what Jesus did for us and everytime I watch this movie I cry. Jesus died for everyone of us and if nothing else is said about this movie or the bible take this important message: Jesus Christ was tortured and killed, leading a sinless life, so that we may all come to live in that beautiful promise land. I love you Jesus and thanks for loving us.
I love my Yahshua Maschiach since He gave Himself to free me and you from the grips of Hell and Satan. Thank you so much Jesus your love knows no bounds and for that I truly do thank you and love you. And also please for give me too for I have sinned selfishly against you please help me to be a better person. In Jesus' name Amen.
@SuperTayken EXACTLY without Jesus Christ life for me personally would be literally meaningless. God bless you my friend and thank you for your comment.
man he is awesome Jim is goood man he did great butt ya know Jesus rocks!!!GodBless be Jesus blessed !One day ill be a christian singer for God ! I love him so much he gets me through all things !
When I saw his work in Count of Monte Christo. The betrayal, wrongly suffering, there were certain images that were Christ-like. At that moment I thought he'd be great in playing that role. He's a great actor, and evidently a great person.
@SIXTHS3AL I agree you get usually get a feeling from actors even though often they are acting at all times but I still feel he really believed in the work he did for this feel and I know after seeing it that I felt it! God bless people like him and more more of us take his example and not be ashamed of Jesus Christ and thankful for his sacrifice which he made for us. The love and peace which only his gospel brings, I know personally without Jesus Christ my life would have no meaning.
It takes a LOT of guts to proclaim the things he did in this interview. In a world where everything goes and religion is discarded, it's really tough. Thumbs up, Jeff. Thumbs up.
@crumbleface I agree and I think you will find the more the world falls away from morality, integrity and the teachings of Jesus Christ, the more we need to remember how much it matters what each one of us says and does. It does matter, there are many wonderful people in the world today yet but are lost. Thank God for Jesus Christ and His example and gospel which are more important and needed today than ever before in human history.
Just because you aren't convinced that Jesus is the Son of God, doesn't mean you hate Him. He was a preacher who taught love and compassion and died passively for his beliefs. What is there to hate? It bothers me when people assume that nonbelievers automatically hate Jesus.
Jim came to Bayside of Granite Bay and talked to Pastor Ray Johnston about the film, but asked that it not be recorded onto video or podcast. It's unfortunate, but it was really cool to be there. He then signed his audio Bibles for the people that were buying them.
His accurate portrayal yes deserves praise, but if it anointed and is a Christ breathed production then Jesus's whole goal is to make Himself known and not Jim...Christ takes care of Jim and Jim completely understands. They have a relationship and it is evident
The Passion of The Christ.. Is my most FAVORITE movie of ALL times.. I watch it every Easter! To remember the LOVE that God has for us ALL.... Please make a sequel Mel... And may God protect you and your loved ones... PS. You did an awesome job Jim!!
@juclael I agree with you I believe he should have won the Oscar. But good luck with Hollywood voting for anything that supports anything relating to anything divine such as God, Jesus Christ or anything that isn't the 'flavor of the month'.
Yeah parents let their kids watch dumb movies now a days ...horors films and all that stuff but now they wanna have a fit over a movie about christ. Give me a break...
i never cried from watching a movie ever...but when i watched this..i kinda teared up...plus this was the most appealing looking jesus to me ...LOVE..christian jew muslim who gives a FUCK...LOVE
I just love this movie. Jim is such a genuine and devoted actor. well done. This is a piercing movie. Every time i watch it I can't help but cry. Mel Gibson acheived his goal. I truly start to reflect on my religion and life. I appreciate this movie emensely
seeing your own sin in thetre through,.. i think what he thinks their is from his own perception on his faith it doesnt apply until he believes it to thats him great actor though
Caviezel said something incredibly important. Something that I can relate to myself having not been a Christian for most of my life. We do not want to see Jesus being whipped . We want to turn away, but he gave himself to us because of our sins. It is only when I understood that that I could understand the significance of the cross and of Jesus.
@fkanga Well even the Father turned his face from Jesus, and Jesus said, "Father why hast thou forsaken me?" That was truly painful for Jesus, but he took that pain so we wouldn't have to because, we were the ones who deserved to be forsaken. It is hard to watch, but we must remember what he has done for us and give him the glory! AMEN..
Thank you! I thought so too, something you just don't see in the 'entertainment business' had to post it to give some interesting insights into something that Hollywood was very against yet did extremely well at the box office.
I would think they would take note to produce more 'family and Christian-friendly" fare since there is obviously a huge untapped demand in the general public.
Well I'd have to agree personally I'd wait until they really wanted to all see it and even then I'd say at least 13 or even older. However, I'd rather see young children watching this than something else that was graphic.
I believe little kids should see this...because christ died for their sins too!....i have seen little kids give their life to christ just by watching The Passion...no one is too small or young to receive christ i would say
my goodness. I did felt like crap after seeing this movie. I was the one who was supposed to hang on that cross. What Jesus did was incredibly heroic. Thank you so much Jesus!!

But wooow, I cant even imagine how he played the role. God bless you Jim, anyone can see you have been touched by Christ.
