The damping is excellent, as is the "roll" control in the corners, very little, I would not recommend if you have lots of speed bumps in the area tho, its firm and rides pretty similar to something like an elise, definately only an option if you dont mind the odd harsh intrusion into the cabin on bad bumps, I also had a full set of poly bushes fitted tho which makes things slightly harsher still.
thanks, it was a great car, miss it for the handling especially after I fitted the V3 KW's coilovers, got an E60 530d M-Sport now, nice car but the E46 still rules :D
what was the v3 kw's like? did it affect the ride of the car, id like it lowered but i have lots of speed bumps into my estate and id like to have a comfortable car too. im sure the e60 rocks!!!
next time you drop your trailer and its a bit wet try it mate, you can powerslide those puppies nicely heheehhe, not that ive tried of course, oh no Officer :P
Quite honestly not, but later in the afternoon I was really hanging the rear out into the right and overdid it a little and it snapped back hard, resulted in a harmless spin which was actually damned funny cos I know the marshall who was on that corner probably had money on it, specially after watching us go through getting more and more sideways for the previous hour lol
Haha! Well, I suppose over confidence can bite back!! Same with me and my Karting, Ill push through a corner at high speed, And the next lap even HIGHER speed and ill spin or drift, Depending on the amount/lack of control of the 390cc beast ;)
Hey Mark, I was marshalling that day, at the exit of the paddock before hall bends, and to give you credit you did keep it on the road all day through there! and yes, just like me, the marshal at the gooseneck was expecting you to loose it at some point! :) oh well, atleast you kept us entertained on an otherwise quiet day. Thanks.
Thanks Steve, had a lot of fun as usual, been with both the bike and car several times now as its my local and never get bored of looning around at Cadwell, thanks to you guys at the trackside, nice to have people on hand for those times when you run out of talent ( touch wood not happend yet ), hope you guys/girls get paid for the trackdays at least, again, thanks to you trackside marshalls. See you next time maybe with my 5 series hehehe
complimenti

How much was the new suspension setup? Did it affect the ride quality? I must have a comfortable ride, I've had too many teeth breakers in my time.
