Sure this little lion cub was raised while giving the utmost love and kindness by this two young adults. In return Christian had shown his kindness and unconditional love towards the two men as well. This is surely a one of a kind love story. Very Touching.

This is a truly heartwarming story. It is such a shame that Christian was ever put in captivity in the first place. However, the two men did the best thing for him, bringing him back to his native environment....I know it hurt them to leave him, but they truly had no choice but to do so. Anyone "wanting" a pet lion because of this story isn't thinking of the animal's welfare-only theirs.......

Such a beautiful animal! Reminds me of my cat Shadow sometimes. He always acted like a dog and loved people and another animals. He would always greet people into the house and run up and down the fence with the dog and sleep with other cats next door :S

Christian was a Lion raised on Love. sad that he was sent into the wild... because there the love was beat out of him by other lions. which is why he was never seen again after 4yrs in the wild.

Christian should have stayed in a natural sanctuary, he would have been happier & lived a longer life.

you can't raise an animal to love then send him into a place that knows only unspeakable violence. a most un-natural environment for Christian. now , he is in heaven....sitting next to the lamb.

Christian lived a long life in the wild and died sometime in the late 80s, early 90s, I believe is what it says in the book.

This lion did not survive long in the wild that's why they never made a movie, can anyone even begin to understand what a Male lion has to do in the wild to survive and sire cubs.

From the looks of it, this lion would have adopted other male lions cubs, not killed them like a wild lion does....well at least the lion was loved....by us idiot humans!

Really good,...in fact all the videos I have seen of Christian are good..and all because it portrays 'love', not anger, or indifference, but love, and it says it all. Anyway, we all came from love and we return to the same source at the end of our days, so if we portray 'love' towards each other and not be critical of so many things, there wouldn't be room to express anything else in our lives but love and happiness..and isn't that what we're all looking for anyway?.
