Noel Coward.....so thoroughly and quintessentially English but also quintessentially of a time now long since gone...a time when there was an enormous divide between the clases in England and there is no doubt that Noel represented the upper class in quite a sublime manner....his clear cut, crisp and well enunciated accent of the period was indicative of that, plus the fact that he was a very close friend of the Duchess of York of the time, later Queen Elizabeth & later still our Queen Mother.
