in my opinion, this song is crap compared to the original Tom Waits version. He took a soulful hear felt song and turned it into a "sell-out" version. Way to bank off other people's talent.

this is one of the better covers of Tom Waits. Much less rough than Waits and without his edge,, which is to be expected, but the imagery of Waits lyrics still come out strongly and are delivered well.

Of course, no one does Tom Waits better than he does, so people should check out the original if they haven't heard it.

Tom's version is abit better, more blues sounding but this is a good country type version that The Eagles would have done. I like this though,it is quite good though, very relaxing.
