    Abraço

  • @Pamolli

    muito obrigado, senhor

  • Impressionante..tem muito a manha.

  • Amei isso. Se você souber tocar Toninho Horta, será maravilhoso você compartilhar conosco. O nome da música é BEIJO PARTIDO. Abaixo o link da música. Thansks.

  • @NanniRicardo

    obrigado pra assistir.

  • Belíssimo arranjo!!

  • sorry I couldnt resist posting again. I havnt heard this song before you. The ending of this song is genious. The song itself tells a story and its almost dark., and scary. but its not until the very end.. that piece that repeats at the very end. I vision someone was caught after a long chase and the criminal is just tormenting them. I know graphic but its the perfect sountrack to a horror or thriller movie.

  • I have watched several of your videos and its obvious from your following your really good. As an amatur guitar player, I cant help but feel jelious that you can do anything you want with a guitar. I look at my guitar and see a handful of chords I can play comforatbly.. but you just grab the guitar and make any sound you hear in your head come out to your fingers. I liked that tuneing... it wasnt standard correct?

  • @boofneenee

thanks. it's not quite that i can do *anything* :D I do like your point about being able to hear something and finding a way to make it work on the guitar. that is of the essence. It's very similar to something Paulinho Nogueira said how every time the guitar seems to present an obstacle there's always some solution right there on the fingerboard somewhere (excuse the heavy paraphrasing).

Actually that one is standard tuning.

    thanks for watching

  • Wonderful! Good to see someone playing this song so carefully! Congratulations!

(also good to see an american who like this songs from Milton and Clube da Esquina). Hugs from Brazil!

  • @mariogaiottomandu

thanks, yes I love the Mineiro sound (if that's what it's called :D)

  • vc é brasileiro? (are u brazilian?)... Awesome arrangement by the way

  • @agsfmayerjm

thanks amigo. no, I'm americano :D

  • @troubleclef haha you're welcome amigo.

  • Very, very, very Good!!!!!Nice Job!!!!Wonderful!!!!!!!!

  • troubleclef, your "clube da esquina" are overwhelming....thank you so much!

Parabens!

  • It means "one sunflower with the color of your hair".

  • I'm from BH, Minas Gerais. Land of Lô Borges and Milton

Nascimento. I'm proud by this version, very good. I'm following you since I saw your version of "Canto de Ossanha". Wonderful guitar player!

  • Your arrangements are pure magic!

  • Damn, man, you never cease to amaze me! I wrote you long ago to praise your brilliant rendition of Clube da Esquina Nº2, and now you come with this. And Goodbye Yellow Brick Road still moves me. Insane, Sir, well done!

  • Thanks a lot!

  • I think that I commented on this a while back but I love it so much! It is simply beautiful! Very masterful fingerwork on Trebleclef's part. I would love to learn this song if you have acquired any tabs for this or if anyone could write any for this song... Brilliant song played by brilliant guitarist!

  • Beautiful! Actually I like the reverb.

  • Very sweet performance!

  • It's beatiful man, I am Brazillian and I like people from other countries learning our culture and playing our music... it's grateful!

    congratulations!

I want you to know another ones...

Learn "Cartola - As rosas não falam" this music is simply beatiful and it's words are very strong, if you have the opportunity to translate it for your language you will know our samba culture is like. :DDD Thanks man!

  • Do you have a CD one can purchase, Troubleclef? Hope this piece is on it but all of your instrumentals are just excellent. Hope to hear from you....

    Nick Campbell

  • huauhsuheuahsuh eu ri

  • Ainda bem :-)

  • Great execution as usual. Suggestion though. Go easy on the reverb. The last return sounds artificial through youtube. It's a little distracting here, specially at the beginning.

  • que foda amigo.. tocas pra caralho to tirando sua versao

  • I find myself mesmerized . . .stunningly beautiful.

  • Extremamente bonito! Voce tem aquele toque certinho! Espero a tocar isso no futuro! :-)

Excellent work, maybe one day i'll be able to play this!!! :-)

  • Very good! I'm trying to learn tthis arrangement watching and listening.

    Congratulations!

  • excellent. that's good to hear. listening and learning is always best. good luck.

  • i love this melody- your arrangement is amazing- bravo! i so wish u were a guitar teacher in england

  • thanks buddy

  • Lovely as ever

  • subscribed

  • thanks for subscribing

  • subscibed

  • if you don't mind me asking, what gear did you use for the reverb like effect? sounds really good!

  • it's built in to Garageband on the mac and called "large reverb". wish I could tweak it down a bit to get a "small reverb". i'm sure there's plug-ins or something that i can find, but i haven't done any research on it yet

  • Why don't you get a "Logic" I work with it nowadays and it's a real great program.

    Just a suggestion.

It has tons of plug ins and effects and lots of great reverbs ! That was really amazing. And I really really love the sound of your taylor , So deserves 5stars !

  • thanks i will check it out.

  • That was incredible!

  • Anyone know what tuning he's using or have any tabs that are close to this arrangement?

  • nice, very good , i adore it;

  • Maravilhosooooo!

  • BONITO, HEIM CARA ?

  • Incredible! I admire your arrangements a lot.

  • beautiful! simply breathtaking

  • Simplesmente FANTASTICO!

  • very nice...thanks for posting

  • wow. 2:10 nice crescendo of drama and reverb

  • You are Fantastic, Do You Know the song "O Filho que eu quero Ter" Toquinho sing this song? would you playng this song is a very beatiful song.

  • Hey Troubleclef, Your playing is fantastic, I love your videos, and I think this is probably my favorite one. Have you ever played "Vincent" or "And I Love You So" by Don McClean? Those seem like they might be up your alley

  • Ah, one question: these harmonics with the right hand on the 2d verse; how is it called? what is it? how do you do them? :)

    obrigadao

  • Artificial harmonics.

example: hold down 1st fret of 1st string. *lightly* touch the 13th fret with the index finger of the right hand (12 frets above the fretted fret) and pick the string at the same time with the ring finger of the right hand.

    hope that helps.

  • Thanks, yes it helped a lot :) thanks

PS: I forgot to say also that I really love your interpretation and the sound of your guitar. Parabens! ;)

  • great one

  • the guitar sounds incredible!

    played by maestro clef...

    perfect symbiosis

  • maravilhoso, cara

  • Fantastico! Vc toca violao a quanto tempo?

  • Ha 35 anos. muito obrigado

  • Parabéns!

  • VOCÊ É UM GÊNIO. GENIOUS.

  • How many people are familiar with Milton? I think I am one of the few around here...and i am in the NYC area! thanks for the post!

  • You are Great.Thank you.

  • SIMPLESMENTE MARAVILHOSO! Grato.

  • I've ran out of thumbs to point up for this incredible work.

  • Don't worry I added one for ya! lol

  • totally agree- haunting melody- i keep on playing it in my head when im out and about and accidently hum it out loud-difficult tune to hum in public and seem sane! and i just noticed you got a support bandage on ur right forearm! it obviously hasn't affected the skills.

  • thanks. it's not a bandage just a sweatband.

  • It gives me chills! great arrangement. thanks for sharing

  • i cannot believe how good this is... quite lifting to hear. hearing the other versions of this song available- it's clear you have a lot of ur own creativity - not just like simply regurgitating say, "cavatina" or whatever. it's my favourite version of this song out there- even though there is no singing. ur playing is astounding- i wonder what it must be like to be that good! still practising-gimme another 50 years! lol

  • MESTRE!

  • a thumb up for every one

  • I can't imagine this song being played any better. Really.

  • Amazing arrangements and sound!

Thank you for opening my eyes to this new sound for me!

    Play On!

Parabens.

    Bjs

  • Que coisa linda! Parabéns

    Abraços do Brasil

  • Tony, again amazing. You really should have a link to iTunes from these videos so people can purchase a copy of these performances. Your guitar work is 1st rate.

  • When I grown up I wanna be like you!

Quando eu crescer quero ser como vocÊ!

  • It sounds like new age style!

    Very good.

  • Fantastic playing and arranging Tony, nice chord inversions in there, always love those Brazilian type compositions, the warmth in melody and richness in Harmony goes far beyond the Poor Stuff we mostly get to hear in the Western Pop Music ( of course with exception of Jazz and Classical)Vic.

  • Nice playing and I love the reverb.

  • This is incredible thank you!

  • I have not heard anything that beautiful since the last time I heard you play. Thank you for reaching beyond our simple appreciation of music.

  • Well ive only been playing for around 5 months now and im gettin rather good but this is on a whole new level of talent. you are amazing, i am totally subscribing!

  • Soo beautiful chords !

Again (what else) 5 *s from Austria!

    kindly,

    wolfgang

  • MR LO BORGES IS VERY PROUD !!!!!!!!!!!

  • sound so crisp and clean...... another beauty. thank you Tony.

  • Immaculate! Very nicely done!

  • Amazing performance and beautiful song.

  • Nothing short of extraordinary. Second half starting at minute 2 is absolutely spine-chilling. Thanks.

  • Thank you, Alex

  • so much finesse!

reverb makes or breaks a song, and it totally makes this one. not to say your playing doesn't "make" it either, haha.

  • thanks. i think it's a bit too much on this one but i just used the garage band preset. i'll have to learn how to tone it down some.

  • you always amaze me and move me. thank you.

  • AMAZING TECHNIQUE!!

  • Beautifull !! I add it to my fav

    thanks a lot !

  • absolutely amazing. i can - and do - listen to your playing every day. you have wonderful taste and a true gift. thank you for sharing with us.

  • thanks for the dedication!

  • Pure beauty.. Bravo

  • Very well done!

May I ask what strings you are using?

  • yup, they're Daddario Pro Arte normal tensions

  • Very well done. Excellent performance.

    allen

  • Maravilhoso!

    Very good job!!!

  • thanks. more Milton, Lo and Clube stuff to come. stay tuned.

  • Beautiful!

  • very beautiful :)

  • What's to say? The best! Amazing, one of your best performances.

    Thank you for that.

  • nice reverb setting for this tune.

or are you using an expression pedal

    to ride the delay times?

    great effect, and tune!

  • Rio de Janeiro salutes Elton John, Jonas Brothers, Madona (they are allways wellcome)...BUT I JUST WANT TROUBLECLEF NOW !!!!

  • i agree !!

  • wonderful !! very good and clean sound this time..this does justice to you and your guitar!!

    my regards..Maestro!

  • i appreciate it, buddy. I started recording on a Mac with this clip (or the one just before it, can't remember) and things do sound better I believe.

  • ya know, this piece does have a richer quality in sound! But why would a mac make the difference?

  • compare the sound of "Zelao" my most recent clip (recorded on mac) to the sound of "Travessia" recorded on the pc. turn your speakers up. Lots of distortion on "Travessia" and any of the most recent pc clips

  • that has a lot to do with the quality of the pre amps and convertors used. say you were using a usb recording device with built in pre amps and convertors.. you shouldn't be able to tell the difference if you were using it on a pc or a mac.

  • Very good job!

  • Well done!

  • Bravo, this was like "chord school" :)- thanks so much for taking the time to post these jewels for us all. TRB
